In order to improve the shipping and handling process for the custom surgical packs, I feel that the first step should be evaluating the exact amount of inventory needed for one day operations. Once the exact amount has been accounted for, APH’s management department can use this data to help reduce the quantity of packs in the buffer from one day supply to smaller a number of packs, thus decreasing the expense. This action helps circle back to the main functionary goal of the JIT method, which is the elimination of waste within the company/organization
The Department denied the Appellant’s March 30, 2016 application for LIHEAP benefits due to the LIHEAP crisis payment amount being unable to resolve the Appellant’s heating emergency of $3018.96. It is the Department’s position that the Appellant was reviewed for the crisis component because she had already received the cash component earlier in the heating season and only one cash grant is allowed per heating season. The Department’s Representative insisted the correct action was taken based on the fact that the LIHEAP crisis benefit amount would not satisfy the balance needed to prevent termination of service.

I don’t have an issue discontinuing the practice of doing monthly physical counts on 100% of the inventory and going to a random, cycle count procedure where small numbers of items are counting over time with a goal of cycling through the inventory quarterly. I would request that the managers provide documentation to Bill of the items counted, even if it doesn’t result in an inventory adjustment. This can be done in a quick email identifying the items counted each week and the results of those counts. The purpose would be to document the cycle count process as part of our internal control of inventory. Much like we do on the upholstery side, Bill could supply a summary of the items counted in a given time period and the results of those
The situation of determining how to handle the recently discovered high lead content in the large whistles order is a difficult one that will in some way affect the company. Three alternatives have been made to allow options for this decision.
Christina, that is so true. The sales reps are the face of the company and this plays a very crucial role in building customer loyalty with the company. The clients do not know anything about your company so the sales reps are going to be the first impression of what your company has to offer. So it is vital that the sales reps are knowledgeable on all the company’s products and policies and ensure they are able to follow through on their promises. A good sales rep will listen to the concerns of each client and will try their best to accommodate the customer’s
Nightingale Community Hospital identified a recent sentinel event involving the ambulatory surgical center. A sentinel event is defined as an unexpected occurrence involving death or serious physical or psychological injury, or the risk thereof (http://www.jointcommission.org/sentinel_event). A three year old female presented to the hospital on September 14th for a planned outpatient procedure. The child was accompanied by her mother. The mother registered the patient with the registrar prior to the procedure. This report demonstrates the current financial situation for the Stratton Township Park and makes recommendations for the annual program budget for the next fiscal year. We first show the current annual budget program, indicating line-item details for each function by account and summarizing the park budget as a whole. Second, we find the break-even points for the golf course green fee and the pool admission to determine what the park would have to charge in order to cover expenses of the these operations. Next, we calculate the marginal revenues and expenses to determine the impact of shutting down certain programs in the park. Lastly, this report prepares the revised budget for the upcoming fiscal year based on our recommendations.
The disease process I will be reviewing is traumatic brain injuries. A traumatic brain injury occurs when sudden trauma occurs to an individual’s brain. In the State of North Carolina(NC) to be able to obtain a license to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner the applicant will first will have to hold an active valid Registered Nurse license number from NC or from another compact state (NC Board of Nursing, 2015). The next major step is to complete an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) program. Until recently South University was not an accredited school in North Carolina for Nurse Practitioner not only a few months ago the accreditation was obtained. After satisfactory completion of the program the prospective NP will have to apply to the AANC or ACNP for examination to obtain a certification (NC Board of Nursing, 2015). Once the NP passes the board she will have national certification to practice in any state where the Registered Nurse license is active, and she will have to follow the requirement for that state. The board will mail a registration card that will allow the nurse to use the title of NP, but it does not grant the authority to practice. The NP will have to apply for certification to practice (NC Board of Nursing, 2015)

I would involve all who concern by starting with the children while understanding the sensitive nature of this group, i.e. their culture, traditions, and values. Increase access to health risk assessments to control high blood pressure and obesity. I would promote, design and plan a program to make eating healthy for the residents who do not have access to affordable options. I would prevent and reduce food insecurities, obesity and diabetes by designing concepts for a healthier and reasonable community.

A. Nurse sensitive indicators are factors that are directly impacted by nursing. There indicators fall into three categories; structure, process and outcomes of nursing care. The structure indicators are the organizational piece of nursing care. These relates to the amount of staff on duty at a given time, how many RN's are on duty and experience level of the staff. For example, evidence indicates institutions with a higher number of RN’s possessing a Bachelor Degree in nursing result in improved patient outcomes. The process indicators measure nursing care such as patient assessment, patient care and intervention. These are the organizational policies and procedures of nursing. The patient outcomes are indicators directly related to
