America’s Gift to our Generation I like to think that the generation we have made to become has given many gifts to our generation. America has freedom and safety. What we most frequently use is technology. More specifically social media. Social media has played a vast role in daily live in this generation, we use media to share our daily lives with others and to reach out to friends and family. Social media allows people to make new friends online, but while making friends online you could get seriously hurt. On social media, like Instagram, people think they make new friends all the time, but people become closer to people to cyberbully them, so it hurts more. Other times there is someone who is a friend they will disguise themselves as
Nevertheless, it can lead one to believe that they have a better understanding of an individual and their relationship with them than it actually is. Social media can blur the lines between who is a true friend and who is a stranger we know things about.
America has changed a lot. If you were in america one- hundred years ago, things would have looked very different. America's new generation is not only different from several years ago, but in other countries too.
There is many gifts America has given to my generation, so much that I will not be able to list them all here. All of the amazing gifts America has given to my generation was earned. I believe that we take some of them for granted, we sometimes do not understand all the great and wonderful things America has given to this generation. So, I will be listing some of the most important gifts that has earned and then given to my generation.
The Second Amendment says that all citizens should have the right to bear arms, and some people are trying to take away what the military fought for. America’s gift to my generation is the right to bear arms or the Second Amendment. Because of this law, we have the right to defend ourselves hunt, and have fun. The military fought for these rights so we should keep them.
In my generation teen’s and kids are accepting of people’s sexuality and ethnicity. The gift of acceptance is still slowly opening. Being accepted can lower the percentages of depression and suicides. America’s gift opened up a new world to opportunities for all people. Acceptance is great and i think most people would agree. America’s gift to my generation is acceptance.
This theme has many perspectives. Some parents might think it’s their child and what gift they will give their generation, while some believe it’s all of this technology we have today. It is a gift to not just our generation, but for many generations to come. Not just people in general, but their diversity, their freedoms, and the changes a person can make in the world. Many of our minds think in very different ways.
Imagine growing up and not having the right to say what you want or what you believe in or not being allowed to wear what you love wearing, wouldn't that make that make you the same as everyone else? That's why freedom is very important to us and is the best gift to my generation. Freedom let us state our own opinion on things, and also let us wear what we want to wear.
The United States has 1,281,000 people in the US military and 801,200 in the reserve. These people protect us and give us so much for us. We can stay in the houses we own and live were we want. First Amendment, the freedom of speech lets us say what we want and post what we want. The best protection is our protection, we are protect by our military so well that we can’t say thank you enough.
America has given us many things. Many things, that most people take for granted. Things such as our freedom, and schools. What many people don’t realize is that without our soldiers, fallen heros, and veterans, America probably wouldn’t be the same as it was today. We might not have gotten our independence, and would’ve still been under control of the British. We might have lost World War one or two, or any war for that matter.
I believe America’s gift to my generation is freedom. We don’t have to go through many wars to keep our freedom. We won’t have to fight England for our freedom again. We won’t have to go through the violent bloodshed of the World Wars. This was given to us from past generations of Americans that went all around the world so we could stay a free country and not be overruled by another country. Men and women risked their lives so we wouldn’t have to change our religion, change the government, or change the economy. This generation won’t have to fight for freedom, we won’t have to fight for women’s suffrage. We can have our freedoms without having to fight for them. But yet, we still have people in Afghanistan fighting for those freedoms
Sometimes something as simple as a tree can symbolize America. I think the people in this country resemble the apples, fresh and ready to be picked to be taken around the world. However, a specific process is required to produce a healthy apple. It starts with the roots of the tree, which represent a strong foundation and good education. All the apples in the tree need the roots for key nutrients. The branches represent the thousands of life paths that are opened up to us in America. After studying, people set off on these paths to pursue a career. Unlimited opportunities for a good education and careers are America’s gift to my generation.
America’s gifts to my generation are high-speed technology, Wii games, and such as , all of which I am grateful for. Specifically, I am grateful for chromebook laptops, hot cheetos, and Irish Spring soap. I identify with these three products as beneficial, pleasurable, and practical. I know America has it’s downfalls, but looking at the bigger picture, our country is one of the most productive and rewarding country’s a person could ever live in. As of 2016, Haiti’s reported GDP per capita was 739.60. In contrast, as of 2016, America’s GDP per capita was 18.57 trillion. You mean to tell me that I shouldn’t honor and appreciate my country?
The American gift to my generation of people is all sorts of things America gives to us. One of them are Phones. Phones because people play on them, call, text friends all sorts of things. People also go on social media like Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram,
Throughout my life, I’ve been interested in many different things like languages and business. I’ve always been quite inquisitive, showing interest in what I’m learning. My interest in validating what I’m taught has helped me with solving problems throughout my life. It’s also helped me solve problems in other’s lives as well. I also believe that Generation Z can work together to solve common problems throughout the world thanks to America. America's gift to Generation Z are the resources to help fix and learn from the issues of today; we have electronics that allow us to access information instantly and politicians that challenge our political views.
I will be describing what each branch of the military has done to help improve and make america how it is today. My understanding is that each branch has an enormous impact on how we get to live our life and the things we have the privilege to do on an everyday basis. I greatly appreciate everything that these brave and agile men and women do for us to live the vast life we live.
