Advantages easy to implement Disadvantages Limited Test Opportunities. Trial and error works best in situations where you have more test subjects than you need to run each test. When you have a limited number of test subjects that you cannot reuse after each test, you have to be highly selective of the tests you run. For example, if you have seven patients with the same sickness and you have 11 different tests you can run, but one test only for each patient, you need to select the seven tests you think are most helpful. The group should consist of people drawn from different areas like marketing, production, quality control, planning, finance, costing, stores etc. The brain storming session should be held in a good place with ambienceso that group comes open with their ideas.
