Marijuana has been used by many doctors for treatment of cancer, they use it in reducing glaucoma and helping people going through chemo. Marijuana has been approved to be safe for treating diseases such as arthritis, Alzheimer’s, migraines, hepatitis C and much more. Legalization of marijuana would widely open doctor’s ability to do so and researchers’ abilities to research on it for treatment purpose. Legalization means better and higher quality health standards for the medical profession. Therefore legalization of marijuana would be a disadvantage for the people who suffer from such diseases in which marijuana is used as the main component for the treatment.
