Thirty-fifth president John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas. There campaigning for next year’s presidential election, he would have never expected to be assassinated while sitting in a motorcade, waving at the people who had congregated in the streets.
