Jesus spread “good news” of God’s kingdom. He did “miraculous works of healing and calming the sea and feeding the 5,000” (Lecture 4, 2015). In Echeverria’s, The Christian Faith as a Way of Life, he states, “Christ is Lord of all-over every aspect of life. Yes, even the intellectual life is in service of Christ the King” (2007, p. 244). Jesus Christ was sent by His Father to atone for humanity’s sins. This act is an example of God’s eternal love for humanity. This is all I have ever known. I grew up believing in one God, His son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit (the Trinity). I do believe that God created everything in this world and that we have been placed here for a reason. I have never felt the urge to branch out and study other religions. The reasoning for this is because I believe that I have felt the spirit while reading the Bible and listening to other individual’s faith that coincides with mine. I am not perfect, and no one is, but I do my best to follow God’s commandments, be a good-hearted person, and believe whole-heartedly in our Savior and the sacrifice that was made for us

God can be a very controversial subject depending on who you are talking to in this day and time; some people believe, some believe in other Gods and then there are other groups who do not believe in anything beyond this life. God has always had to deal with those who do not believe. God has been persecuted since the beginning of time and has proven over and over that is very much who he says he is. This paper will give you a better understanding of who God is, how humanity is affected by their beliefs, who Jesus is and how he is the way to the heavenly father and creator as well as how restoration will impact our lives as well as the beliefs I hold in God and how everything he created relies on the next in some way to survive.
“In the God created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1) God existed before all of His creation, therefore He is the sovereign creator. He created all to be good in His perfect wisdom. Though God is invisible, He has several distinct characteristics; compassionate, faithful, infinite, just, wise and all-powerful.
God loved and care for His creation of humanity so much, that He sent Himself to earth in human form, Jesus Christ the messiah to save all people of all nations. God as Jesus develop human relationships with the people around Him, especially the twelve disciples who he sent out to proclaim the message of God’s kingdom. Jesus even spoke to the disciples about loving him more than they would ever love their wife or children before Him. God wanted to be your first love before anyone else in your life, he wanted a lasting deep relationship in your life, He wanted to actively involve with humanity. God loved humanity and wanted an eternal bond with His creation “that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall

Another prime part of foundation is how we base what is good and what is evil. This is the basis for morality. (Hayes, 2008) Moral law is at the core of our definitions of our worldview. The Bible does tell us that there is a moral law that is instilled into our hearts. At this core we have the one who created this moral law, God. This moral law is part of our nature and it is outlined very clearly in scripture. Most of the Sermon on the Mount, delivered by Jesus to the masses, outline in Matthew 5: 21-48, 6: 1-34, 7: 1-6 (Open Bible, 2015) This chapter in the New testament is really a moral code that we should be living our lives by. Jesus was also clear that he was not there to destroy the old law. But he was there to fulfill it. Most of the Gospels give further defining information on what is considered
In this assignment you will summarize and analyze the essential elements of the Christian worldview and reflect on implications for your own worldview.
The Christian religion finds its foundation on the Word of God and the work of Jesus Christ. Christianity finds its beginnings with Jesus Christ about 2,000 years ago. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came down to earth to teach, heal, and die for the sins of humanity. When God created man, he openly rebelled against God, causing a rift in their relationship. Since humans cannot save themselves, a perfect and completely innocent sacrifice was necessary in order to purify and restore mankind. Christianity is all about Jesus’ death and resurrection, as well as denying oneself and following Christ.
When it comes to defining what is the true essence of the Christian worldview, it must be noted that there is not a single point of which serves as the essence but rather the essence of Christianity comes from many of its key points. The first point that serves as part of the foundation that creates the essence of the Christian worldview would be the belief in God's existence. This may seem quite obvious since one of the key tenets of any theistic worldview is the belief a higher power but this should not be overlooked since it is an extremely vital part. Such a belief in a higher power is extremely important since it creates a worldview that is extremely different from those within the Atheistic family. This is because the assumption that
Our worldview allows us to see into the world at such an angle that it coincides with our beliefs, therefore affecting how we think and live. Whether one falls under an atheistic, pantheistic, or theistic worldview, they are guided in their life choices depending on the beliefs of their worldview. Throughout this paper, I will summarize the elements of a Christian Worldview such as God, Humanity, Jesus, and Restoration; I will then analyze questions one might have about the Christian Worldview, and finally I will reflect on my worldview.
The purpose of this book is meant to create a foundation for Christian lifestyles. It addresses the origin of Christian values, and portrays the evolution of Christian worldviews throughout history. This essay will compare Christianity and the Naturalism worldviews. Christianity is man’s desire to live according to the principles outlined in the Bible. Naturalism on the other hand is rooted in man’s will being the sole purpose of their existence. Both have had long term effects on the world in which we live. They both illustrate the way man treats one another. The question that is asked in both cases is what this relationship means; how it affects the believer, and does it change the way the world is viewed.
A worldview is the way a person views and interprets the world around them. Life experiences and spiritual influences play a part in forming one’s worldview. A person’s worldview helps them to determine beliefs on creation, humanity, morals and what happens after death. According to Waddell, (2014) “Worldviews are also like lenses found in eyeglasses that serve as the means through which a person sees the world.” (para. 43) In this paper, the main components of the Christian worldview will be discussed, to include God, humanity, Jesus, restoration and analysis of Christian Faith as well as a reflection of my own beliefs.
Some theologians, who tried to understand God 's nature, also agree about some basic attributes like the sovereignty, the omnipotence, the omnipresence and the omniscience of God. Having an accurate understanding of all these characteristics of God will help us to build this study on a solid platform.
