My experienced regarding the leading of implementation of collaborative goals have been in the area of the development of a Substance Abuse Treatment Center for adolescents of Cameron County. For example, I was the Lead Counselor/Supervisor of this new program that was developed to provide outpatient services to adolescents from a low social-economic level. The strategies that were implemented by our team and myself were the success collaboration with other entities that could benefit from our services at no cost. In addition, the coalition between our program and several educational district departments were also vital for the goals of this program. However, for monitoring to completion my experienced has been focused on the process that has to be done for each data that we gathered and to make sure everyone involved in the collection of data are following protocols. In addition, reporting has been the most extensive area I have experienced regarding the overall outcomes and goals that had to be reported to the funding sources. Sustainability has been a major concept I have worked while in the planning process. Each process of the organization had to be replicated by any other organization with the same, lower, or higher barriers in our network. The corporate work was to make sure that the concept of the grant was to sustain the initial program while working on the advancement phase of being in network with providers to maintain levels of sustainability. First, we need to established clear guidelines of acceptable boundaries in meetings in order to avoid disruptions in the upcoming meetings. For example, the steps that will need to take in place are to be able to listen to each other while in meetings to be able to process the agenda and focus on main points we need to work on. The techniques will be to practice active listening and structure the process of in-put and out-put comments while covering the agenda. To minimize the risk of this type of challenges is to be able to re-direct the dialogue to the purpose of the meeting.
A meeting agenda ensures that the meeting will be a productive use of everyone's time. It can focus the attendee’s efforts and provide a structure to accomplish the meeting purpose. It defines outcomes, and important information, attendee roles and responsibilities and a meeting timeline. It allows attendee’s to prepare for the meeting as it is made available a week before. It also works as a checklist of those attending, goals and topics for discussion to make sure that all the necessary information is covered and keeps team members focused on the specific goals and stay on track with the subject matter.
Make sure they know the different results which could come from the meeting so that they will not be surprised by any of the decisions that could be made. Explain to them that there could be a range of options for the

Meetings management involves a variety of different activities. Before a meeting has begun the office administrator should make sure that he/she has booked a room for the meeting and that it is in accessible location so that it allows access for anyone who is disabled and it complies with all current government legislation. The secretary should make sure that all the equipment is already set up in the room and check it is in good working order. For example: a computer and a projector if there are going to be presentations of any kind. There should also be sufficient refreshment available. An agenda which contain: Apologies, minutes of the previous meeting, matters arising, any other business and the date of the next meeting. This is sent to all attendees of the meetings in advance so they know what is being discussed.*
If meetings do not happen then issues come up and they are not resolved this may cause friction between staff and may cause the business to lose money and customers. It also makes the business much more organized and keeps the business innovative and relevant. This means these meeting may bring modern changes to the workplace for example going digital with systems and not just file pages of information. It is best to have staff meeting once a month or when required or when something happens and you need an answer urgently using a phone or video conference is the best way to get answers fast these are also examples of other meeting types. So, overall meetings need to happen and all staff need to attend and take them seriously. And there needs to be preparation prior to the meeting to make it a

Meetings can be used in different ways and can have different agenda’s to others. They can be used to inform, seek ideas, clarification, resolve problems, discuss proposals, settle disputes and take decisions.
I will make sure that there be workshops where conflict’s and disagreements will be expressed freely as well as making sure that rules are in place as to how everyone can express their disagreements before a conflict occurs.

The topic focused in this paper within teamwork is communication. In teamwork, communication in an important part in order to achieve success and reach goals. This was the reason why this topic was chosen because; establishing good communication facilitates team work and achievements. This paper will be discussing four good practices that are important for communication, which are suggested by peer-reviewed scholarly articles. Each good practice is provided with an example of how it can be used in my discipline and why it could be helpful. My first practice is to establish a dialogue and hold a common ground as a team. This means to not treat the team as a debate with others, but rather with mutual respect. My second good practice in communication looks as individual communication skills, and assertiveness. My third practice views team communication skills, including team conflict resolution. The final good practice looks how to communicate during the decision making process as a team. In addition a useful technique in part of decision making is brainstorming. Following each practice will assist the team and its members to have good communication and form a stronger team.
Use decision-making processes (e.g. share views, recognise different points of view, identify issues, identify possible solutions, plan for action in groups)
Bowman, Sobo, Asch, and Gifford (2008) defined sustaining improvements refers to "holding the gains" for a variable defined period after the funding has ceased and project personnel has been withdrawn. Likewise, Rabin, Brownson, Haire-joshu, Kreuter, and Weaver (2008) presented sustainability as “what extent an evidence-based intervention can deliver its intended benefits over an extended period of time after external support from the donor agency is terminated” (Chambers et al., 2013). Rogers (2003) defined sustainability in the content of diffuse innovations as ‘the degree to which an innovation or program of change is continued after initial resources are

What makes a counselor great? When they continue building upon the foundation they initially established and continue to grow in their career. For this assignment I chose to write about my experience as a high school therapy group leader in central Minnesota, my attendance at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in St. Louis, Missouri, and about my observations of a group lead by a non-licensed individual at an at-risk girls group home in central Minnesota. The assignment gave me a wide range of view of what ideals I prefer group leaders to have and what I do not want to do as a group leader.
