Introduction: Nursing profession is based on believe, attitude and practices. Many factors especially intrinsic and extrinsic affect personal insights of the great profession titled nursing. Accountability, compassion, professionalism, research, skills, patient center care and use of modern technologies are the key distinct points in nursing profession. Nurses are accountable for maintaining their knowledge, education and skills and do effort for their personal growth that rationally stimulates and promotes their autonomy with perfect nursing skills that will enhance their self-confidence and professional motivation. Practically other health care providers are not acting as team during patient care. Nurses encouraging to patient for make decision regarding their health / treatment. Physician and other health care team members are discouraging this act of nurses. Nursing philosophy encouraging comprehensive patient care from birth to death. Management is not encouraging due to expansive treatment method / lack of resources. Nursing Theories: Pros Cons Theory for fulfill the existing knowledge gap. It is difficult to apply theory in all situation Theory may raise the ability of individuals and recognize the influences of dispositional, interpersonal, situational, and philosophical aspects that enable one to do so. Participants are expected that theory will change social structures within a short period and comfort the life pattern of individuals. Identity theft can occur when unofficial people gain access to sensitive and confidential records. EHR has potential for consolidate the patient record. Data loss is another problem when it originates in electronic health records. EHR speed up the patient processing and increase the organization profit. Computer crash may wipe out important data and create harm for organization and patient.
