Paul taught Timothy that Jesus came to earth to save sinners and that no sin is to great for Him to forgive. Because He paid the ultimate price for our sins by dying on the cross. Paul also taught Timothy what was pleasing to God, and how to be a true follower of Christ. Paul was assigned by God to Timothy. Paul poured into Timothy's life, teaching him the ways of a godly man.
Paul teaches Timothy to preach the gospel, as God had called him to. Also not to let anyone not to let anyone look at him as not good enough just because he was a young man. Paul tells Timothy to not back down from his faith, to stand on what he knows is true and to always stand strong in his faith.
Paul was like a father role for Timothy in my option. I think Paul gives

Among the many New Testament characters recorded in Scripture, the Apostle Paul, by far, is one of the most intriguing. Like the twelve apostles who were companions of Jesus during His earthly ministry, the Apostle Paul was far from perfect but he possessed an extraordinary zeal for God that stood out against the other apostles. Consequently, Jesus likely took notice of Paul’s zeal as well, thus it is no surprise, at least to this author, that Jesus would choose Paul to take the gospel to the Gentiles in faraway lands. Unfortunately, little is known about Paul’s early life. However, and according to Scripture, Paul was likely born around the time of Jesus’ birth (Acts 7:58) in the City of Tarsus, Cecilia, which was a providence of the Roman Empire (McCray, 2003). Tarsus, being a providence of Roman Empire, also made the young Paul a Roman Citizen and Diaspora Jew which Paul would later use to his advantage when facing three separate cases of persecution (Acts 16:37; Acts 22:25-29; Acts 24:27) in the Book of Acts (McCray, 2003).
Because Paul was the first to describe and teach about the role of Jesus in the salvation of humanity from sin, he’s known to be the second founder of Christianity. It was due in part to his influence that
Jesus is the center of Christianity, but without Paul, Christianity would never exist. Paul organized Jesus’s disciples after Jesus’s death. Paul introduced Christianity to Non-Jewish people. He was extremely talented at converting others. The New Testament is largely based off Paul’s teachings. Paul also shaped the way Christianity thinks, he was the man who took a small cult and shaped it so that it would become a world religion; Paul was the most important figure to the growth of Christianity, even more than Jesus of Nazareth.
Christianity over the course of history has a vast influence on individuals, society and the way believers conduct themselves. It provides morals, practices and ethics that every Christian attempts to live by. Throughout the many denominations in the Christian church, Paul of Tarsus had a significant influence on the faith. His contribution to the development and expression of Christianity is immense and can be seen to stem from his writing and missionary journeys which have implemented his ideas and interpretations onto the development of Christianity. After Jesus, Paul was arguably the most significant figure in Christianity as his teachings form a significant part of the New Testament. Like may other Pharisees of that time in history, Paul sought to suppress the early Christian movement. He accused early Christians of blaspheming against God and breaking Mosaic Law. However, Paul had a life-changing experience when he had a vision of Jesus, and he spent the remainder of his life as a missionary for the early church. Centuries after his ministry, his teachings still influence Christian theology.
Paul begins his letter by saying he is an apostle not from men nor through man, but Jesus
Paul was devoted to spreading the gospel to many different people groups. An example from Paul's life that has taught me about spreading God's word is when he preached on his first missionary journey in Acts 13, even after many Jews slandered him and argued against everything he said. Paul’s demonstration of courage in this situation is very inspiring to me. It teaches me to be bold in my belief of the gospel, even when people disagree with me. Another
Timothy was a faithful man of God and we can learn a lot from him. He first met Paul when he was a teenager. Timothy's father did not know anything about his faith and Timothy's mother was a Jew. She was a very faithful woman and taught Timothy a lot. His mother taught him the Old Testament and read to Him so that he would grow to love scripture. Timothy fell in love with Christ because he saw his mother fall in love with Jesus while she and Timothy listened to Paul's teaching. Timothy watched Paul and saw him heal people and perform miracles. Paul then eventually asked Timothy to travel with him. While they were traveling Timothy was able to help Paul start churches in three
Paul was the most prominent apostle in the early Church because he was so effective at forming Christian communities.
It is for this reason that Timothy was in Ephesus with the purpose of restoring the Ephesian church to a faithful and healthy. It is with this motive that Paul instructs Timothy.
Paul’s strongest emphasis was on the death, resurrection, and lordship of Jesus Christ. He preached
Paul is one of the most important figures of Christianity, he is known as the second founder of Christianity. He challenged early Christian communities by preaching to Romans and Gentiles with a new view to the Followers of Jesus. He had no physical contact with Jesus
Paul wrote letters to churches and went on long, dangerous journeys in order to share the Word. Humbly serving the Lord, no matter what the cost, he became a disciple who made disciples. His personal, deep relationship with Timothy reveals the kind of atmosphere and level of commitment required in discipleship. The discipleship model Paul follows allows for a personally invested relationship between any amount of gathered people whether it be an entire church congregation, a small group, or
Timothy is the protégé of the apostle Paul. Paul sent Timothy out into the church world to plant more churches and to preach the gospel of Jesus. Essentially Timothy was another version of Paul. The churches appreciated Timothy and what he was doing for them. He was very important to Paul because he was sending him all over the world to plant more churches and to do more teaching. He was like a disciple of Paul. Paul knew that he singlehandedly could not spread the gospel to the rest of the world. So Paul was making more disciples, like Timothy. Timothy, just like Paul, had some struggles. He has to struggle with others persecuting him and accusing him of being like Paul. I am sure that Timothy also struggled with comparison. We today all
Paul really cared for God’s creation even though many times he was the one to end their lives. He thought he was going to hell when he had to kill John Coffey. John cared for everything. He brought the mouse back to life after Percy killed it. John also helped all the people and took in their pain.
