What Does Your Family Do On Thanksgiving

How different are our Thanksgivings really? How many people do you know that do things differently than you for Thanksgiving? Thanksgiving is a time where you get your whole family together and spend time with each other. During your time together, you reminisce about hilariously weird memories and laugh at all of the amazingly fun times you guys have had together. Also, you feast and make more memories that you will have with you forever! When your with whoever’s house you go to, you get to be you and not worry about what anyone thinks because you know your family loves you the way you are.

Every year for me, we head to my aunt's house on my mom's side at 2 o’clock where all the food is homemade. Soon after that we go to my grandma on my dad's side were the food is a little bit worse. Other people often have Thanksgiving held at their house. The whole family comes to their house for Thanksgiving. I thought everyone had two Thanksgiving like me!

Imagine the moist, golden brown steaming turkey being set right in front of someone on the dining table; they lick their lips as if they can taste it. Many people have turkey on some holidays such as Thanksgiving. To some, it is like a feast. Thanksgiving is a popular holiday, from people begin to realize the many things they are thankful for, to the amazing food, and people are able to spend quality time with their family.

Thanksgiving is more than just a day off or a break from school, it’s more than just a holiday. It’s more than just stuffing your face with mash potatoes and turkey. It's a time to fellowship and give thanks. This year has brought about multiple challenges, but we have stayed faithful and strong as a family. There is nothing more powerful than our family. God has blessed me with such a solicitous family.

Thanksgiving is a holiday when the whole family gets together and feast. In my family this is when all of my family members come together. The thing about my family is that we are like a broken family. Everyone doesn’t get along. So that causes a lot of problems on the table. My family is also outspoken and they like to start trouble. So that’s when the arguments start.

Culturally Americans have accepted that Thanksgiving is a time for family to get together, so with greater emphasis being placed on social support and companionship the Thanksgiving holiday means even more (Solomon, 2013). Both our extended and nuclear family are part of that holiday, so videos like the one I selected drum up new excitement for the upcoming reunions. Thanksgiving, most Americans celebrate Thanksgiving but not everyone celebrates it the same way as you. Grandma’s house, that’s where i always go for thanksgiving. But that doesn’t mean that everyone else who celebrate thanksgiving goes to their grandma’s house, some people don’t even leave their home. Every person has a unique way to spend their thanksgiving

This year Thanksgiving is on November 23,2017. Every year my family Thanksgiving is the best, to me at least. So we always have Thanksgiving at my Grandmas and Grandpas, but not this year we are having it at my house. Which I mean could be good and bad. Good is it is at my house so it’s cool and bad, the house has to be completely spotless or my mom will freak out. Normally what we do every year is we get my family together and have dinner, mess around, and watch football. This year my dad's brother is coming with his three daughters and his wife and my grandpa and grandma. I really can’t wait to see them all because I don't really see them that much as I would like to. When we have a family dinner like this we always have a lot of food for everyone.

Every family has their own unique way of spending time together with loved ones only seen during the holidays. In the Stock home, there is only one thing we enjoy doing. Sure, like every other family we have our grand and elaborate dinner, which is composed of all the greatest delicacies my mother and grandmother can whip up. Of course, as is expected,

Most Thanksgiving holiday meals include the traditional turkey, ham and prime rib. If you are having a large dinner party, I would suggest making all three. Preparing three different main dishes can be difficult, but as I mentioned above, planning is everything. Remember, if you have a small oven, you can always cook the ham a day in advance, roast the turkey on Thanksgiving Day and save the prime rib for the barbeque grill while the turkey is cooking.

My Thanksgiving was pretty fun. I got to see all of my brothers at the same time. We did not have our dinner until Friday, but Thursday was still pretty busy. We did a lot of cooking. Also a lot of arranging.
