Above all, I wouldn’t be where I am today without theatre. Without the chance to perform throughout my life, I would be disconnected from the wide array of communities and histories that’s been imbedded in my daily routine. Unfortunately, it’s speculated that the theatre is a dying art form, because of the expanding popularities of movies (“Is”), but I think that it’ll remain a well renowned part of expressing imagination and interpreting history as years pass; it only takes cooperation with school faculty and young students that go above and beyond to change their

Of Mice and Men’s George and The Scarlet Letter’s Hester Prynne the main characters in these two novels. Both are misunderstood by the people around them. Of Mice and Men was written in 1937 by John Steinbeck to show the most vulnerable people in society at that time. The Scarlet Letter was written by Nathaniel Hawthorne in 1850 to illustrate the way of life for the Puritan society and the way some were punished or misunderstood due to not following the Puritan ways. In Of Mice and Men and The Scarlet Letter Steinbeck and Hawthorne share a common theme between the two novels. By comparing and contrasting the characters, setting, and conflicts it is illustrated that
“Theatre makes us think about power and the way our society works and it does this with a clear purpose, to make a change.”
Our choice to tell stories should exist in the same moment that we identify an audience who needs to hear that story – now, in this context, in this time, and in this medium. The best relationship with an audience begins dramaturgically, at the beginning of a rehearsal process. We must ask: How can we keep our minds open to the audience we have and also to the audience we want and the audience with whom we hope to collaborate? How do we enter a community and work with new people, learn from them and hope they learn from us? Partner with our similar goals and share resources. Work with them and never for them. Theatre isn’t a service—it’s a
The above example illustrates not only how the theatrical performance affects the audience, but also how the audience influences its dynamics, development and the characters within it. The actors feel a certain level of acceptance from the viewer, who demands a certain way of depicting the character. Theatre is not just entertainment, itís something much more than that ñ itís education. Theatre should always represent things, rather than

Religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, Shintoism, and Shamanism have all provided inspiration and influence for the eastern theatre. Religion has effected theatre by creating traditions, superstitions, cultural beliefs, class systems, and theatrical aesthetics. In Asian countries like India, China, and Japan owe thanks to their religion for many of their theatre traditions and this is shown in their history and theatre’s origin.
In Kabuki theatre, everything that is seen on the stage is the result of a meaningful inner dynamic which completes the performance by the coordination of the actors with all the various components of the mise-en-scène and then by the traditions of all the various elements being assembled into an organic whole (Kawatake 1990, 247).
Academic and artistic interest in something is usually a sure sign that matters are unclear, conceptual boundaries are blurred and that old certainties are anything but that. There is also little doubt that the major challenges we face: the media revolution, globalization and migration, climate change, the erosion of public finances and services (to name just a few) – have all in some way a bearing on the public sphere, the realm where issues are debated and where citizens are free to enter and engage in discourse. As the public sphere is primarily a discursive arena located outside and between state bureaucracies on the one hand and economics and business on the other, it occupies a crucial role in the functioning of so-called free societies. The question to be explored here is what role theatre and performance in practice play in this realm and how performance and theatre theory can contribute to the debates.” (Balme
In terms of leadership behavior, in Company A, performance goals are explicitly established by a senior executive who is well prepared to achieve those goals by committing the resources and influential change management as required. Unlike Company A, senior executives, who are “actively engaged in process program” in Company B function as a team and “manage the enterprise through its processes”. As we delve into the “responsibility” part of the organizational culture, we see that that in Company A “employees feel accountable for enterprise results” while, in Company B employees are motivated to serve the customers better and achieve outstanding performance. Moreover, employees of Company A are ready for “major multidimensional change.” In contrast, at Company B performers believe that change is foreseeable and adopt it as a regular business practice. Lastly, in Company A process improvement involves a standard procedure. In addition to that, Company A implements the standardized formal process for process redesign while assimilating it with the “standard process for process improvement”. However, process management and redesign are core competencies of Company B and are entrenched in a “formal system that includes environmental scanning, change planning, implementation, and process centered innovation.”
