San Sorbetolé was all for the fruity, icy form of ice-cream, while Scoopalot was resolute in their belief that the creamy, milky type is best. After a while, the kingdoms united and sherbet was born. Even then there were still some “ice-creamist” radicals stirring the pot. Eventually, they converted the majority of the San Sorbetoléans back to their original ideas for what ice-cream should be like. They then proceeded to sneer at the Scoopaloteans for staying with the integrated treat. For a while the Scoopaloteans grudgingly persevered through the taunting, but after a while, they snapped. A war raged through the kingdoms for many years, and many thought that it was fanciful to believe that the kingdoms would ever reunite. After ten long years of fighting, both of the kingdoms were almost completely wiped out, and they both realized that to continue this futile war would be imprudent.
