There are so many beautiful places that you could visit and one of them are Bora Bora. It is a tropical island that is in the Leeward group in the western part of the Society Islands of French Polynesia, which it located in the Pacific Ocean. It is surrounded by a lagoon and a barrier reef. It has an extinct volcano rising to two peaks, and the names of these two are Mount Pahia and Mount Otemanu. Mount Otemanu has the highest point at 727 meter (2,385 feet). You can actually visit them if you want to. There is a tour where you can climb the mountains and take lots of pictures of the view. It is an amazing view, trust me. The largest city of Bora Bora is Vaitape, it has a population of 4,927, about half of the island’s population which is about 9,000. The main language is French but about 20 percent of the population speak Tahitian. Obviously they speak English too because Bora Bora is a major international tourist destination.
Here some history background about Bora Bora. The island was inhabited by Polynesian settler around the 4th century. It was found by Jabob Roggeveen who is from the Netherlands, in 1722. Then the island was found again by the British fellow named James Cook, he found it year 1770. The island was an independent kingdom until 1888 when its last queen was forced to resign by the French who later reconcile the island as a colony.

Bora Bora is pretty much the coolest place you can travel to, everything here is amazing. It is a place that you must see before you die, absolutely beautiful! It’s a fun place for the family too, the kids gets to do so many fun things. Who knows, you may be lucky to see any celebrities there too.
I absolutely recommend for you guys to travel there, if you can have afford it. It can cost a lot of money to travel there but it is a onetime thing in life you must do. So start saving money now, you won’t regret it, trust me.
