First of all, Krishna was born in jail where his mom Devaki and his dad Vasudeva was put into jail by king Kamsa for the fear of being destroyed or killed by the eighth child of Devaki. Krishna, the incarnation of Vishnu, he is worshiped as the eighth avatar of the god Vishnu. Every sibling of Krishna was killed by Kamsa, but Krishna survived from being killed. Vishnu appeared before Devaki and Vasudeva, and told them he would return to earth by being born as their child and will rescue them.
Secondly, The rightful king of Mathura Ugrasen had been deposed by Kamsa. After Krishna was born the father found himself freed from prison and fled to a safe house. Krishna removed any obstacles that appeared before them on the way to the safe house. His foster parents Nanda and Yasoda took care of Krishna and loved him like he’s their real son. Krishna was exchanged with a girl in a family of cowherds, then his father

Hera found out about Leto being pregnant with Zeus’s kids and she got angry with Leto and she cursed her. Zeus found out that Hera cursed Leto, so he made an island arise from the sea floor so that she can give birth to the twins. After Zeus made an island arise from the floor, Delos, Leto found a place on the island and started to give birth to the twins. Hera found out about Zeus making an island arise from the sea floor, she went out looking for Leto, since she could not find her she kidnapped the Goddess of childbirth, Eileithyia. “One may say that pilgrimages are just as much about the journey as they are about the destination.” (Higl) Pilgrimages are very important to religions around the world. They are important for people when they are working on a deeper faith, and these pilgrimages are to places of great importance. It is important to note that people do not only learn when they are at their destination, but also on the trip to those destinations. “The Canterbury Tales”, Chaucer’s unfinished work, was a group of stories about a group on pilgrimage, but the stories did not take place at the destination. These were stories told on the way to Canterbury. They were also very satiric stories. They showed great hypocrisy, and immorality. The stories seemed to have
In Hinduism karma and reincarnation are two meaningful major elements. Karma is a concept that the universe will return your good or bad actions back to you. You will find with certain actions you make, you feel good and others around you feel good. When remembering karma think about mental and physical actions that you would make. In the Hindu religion the soul reincarnates itself over and over until it becomes perfect.
Hercules is the demigod son of Zeus and Alcmene. Zeus’s wife Hera was angry because he had a child with a mortal woman. His father was one the greatest gods so he gave Hercules the strength of a god. The question of condition, or problem, mainly focuses on what is wrong with the world and your surroundings or with yourself. In the Krishna and Hinduism world view, the problem is the illusion, or Maya, that people tend to build about themselves and what surrounds them. Maya is when people see themselves as something separate instead of the common Hindu belief that all things are connected. Maya brings ignorance, attachment, and reincarnation into the lives of people. People start thinking that they are the most important thing around and do not think about the harm that they may bring to others and mainly their own souls. They start betraying and killing for simple desires instead of for ones own good. By being this
Athena took him to Olympus, and they asked many questions: where he came from, what his talents were, and most important who was his father. Athena then confessed to helping Prometheus, and hiding him from
The story begins with Hercules’ birth. Hercules was the son of Zeus, the god of all gods. Zeus was known for sleeping with goddesses other than his own wife, Hera. Zeus wanted to have a son that could be a champion in both the mortal and immortal world so he decided that Alcmene, wife of Amphitryon, would be the perfect mother.
Zeus was birthed by the Titans Cronus, the god of time, and Rhea, the goddess of female fertility. He was the youngest of six siblings, which were all consumed by his father, who out of his fear of one of his children overthrowing him, “swallowed every child Rhea…[had given] birth to” (Gods, 2017). He was able to grow up without his father devouring him since his mother and Gaia had tricked Cronus into believing
* Krishna pointed out that most people are afraid of death, and that the ignorance described previously is what preventing them from achieving immortality. Only those who have realized that the impermanent has no reality and the reality lies in the eternal; and have seen the boundary between these two would have attained the end of all knowledge. (Bahagavad Gita 2.15)

Gun control in today's society has affected many aspects in the world; whether it be political aspects, social aspects, media aspects, or physiological aspects. Research has been conducted and it was found that individuals who agree to the use of guns often develop negative attitudes towards many aspects of life, such as the availability to discover something for themselves by absorbing what goes on in the world and the use of internet which shows gun control as a potential reducer of violent behavior. As for the other side of this argument, the opponents who agree with gun control often are independents who see firearms as a part of their social and cultural identities which they do not wish to back down. Gun control has been a huge topic that Americans have debated on. One side of the debate thinks it is necessary to have stricter control on guns while the other side feels that there should not be any changes in the use of gun control. The side that wants stricter guns believes it is a safer idea due to the fact of school shootings and terrorism. Another aspect of this debate is the fact that Americans have easy access to guns. Some people believe that this easy access allows individuals who psychological state is not at its best to purchase firearms and potentially carry out violence with the possession of such a weapon. Individuals on either side of the debate have their own supportive reasons for taking a stance on this issue. The
Brahma is the god of creation. In today’s world, he is the least worshipped god in India. There are only two temples in all of India dedicated to him (Brahma). Brahma has a unique look, with four heads and four arms. The second god, Vishnu, is the god of preservation. Thus far in creation, he has been said to be incarnated nine times. Worshippers believe that he will incarnate one last time near the end of the world. Similarly, to what Paul thought of Jesus, “Like any major god, Vishnu is involved in a number of colorful stories which illustrate his virtues as the protector of cosmic order” (Vishnu). Vishnu is uniquely depicted by having blue skin, and four arms. In his four hands, he holds objects representing what he is dependable for. Shiva, the last god, is the god of destruction. In Hinduism, destruction is considered necessary for new life forms to appear. Shiva is portrayed by his blue face and white body, three eyes, and four arms.
He said that victory had indeed accrued to the righteous as the Pandavas had fought for a righteous cause. Gandhari, however, could not forgive Lord Krishna whom she held responsible for all the tragic events. She cursed him saying that the whole of his clan of Yadavas would die fighting one another. Her words came to be true. After the war, she retired to the forest with her husband and sister-in-law, Kunti, where they perished in a forest fire. Kunti Kunti was the wife of Emperor Pandu and mother of the Pandavas. She was the daughter of King Surasena, father of Vasudeva, Krishna’s father. Her father gave her in adoption to his brother-inlaw, King Kuntibhoja, and hence she was called Kunti. Her name at birth was Pritha, and therefore, one of the names of her son, Arjuna, is Partha. A large part of Kunti’s character has already been considered earlier when studying Karna in the Mahabharata: how she invoked the Sun God, abandoned the newborn out of a sense of shame because she was not married, how she met Karna again on the eve of the battle and revealed to him for the first time his divine birth. Kunti accompanied her sons during their first period of exile, having escaped from the arson of the house of combustible material
