Oprah Winfrey once said, "Luck is a matter of preparation meeting opportunity." What Oprah means by this statement is that hard work and effort are the key to meeting opportunity. When someone succeeds and another fails, it is not because of how lucky either of them were, but how much of an effort each of them had made. I agree with Oprah Winfrey because hard work and effort are more important.

First, opportunity is rare to come by making it better to have the experience of taking. Experience gives people an advantage over the other, the more of it one has, the better their chances. For example, Oprah Winfrey went through countless interviews while working for small television companies and every time she failed she only gained the experience in doing better next time. Now look at her, she is one of the riches' women in the world living the dream life. Gaining experience allows us to expand our perception of what we see. The bigger our viewpoint is the more ideas we develop and the greater an asset we become, increasing the chances of being successful.

The stronger the feelings to accomplish a goal the more effort and work will be put into making that goal a possibility. If we believe that someone or something will come along and lend a helping hand that will only lead to failure. Although if something does happen and someone does offer help, without any skills, experience or attitude in moving along you will just end right back at square one depending on luck.
