No pain, no gain
At first sight, this proverb may sound quite not true, because there have been many people who achieved their goals without so much effort, and even have 'nature talent'. There have been people who were children of a millionaire family, inheriting great wealth from their parents, or people who won a large sum of money in a lottery. But that was just pure luck and could not last long. There have been many inherited millionaires who spent all of their money in just one year. And there were even people who were in debt because they won a jackpot! Sounds ridiculous, but that is a true story. In fact, no success comes without hardships and effort.
Life is not always like what we wish, if one want something, he has to try hard,

There are no short-cuts to success and the golden rule is that there is no golden rules to be successful. Pain is useful for us to grow up as a person. As much as everyone tries to minimize pain in life, the fact remains that pain is unavoidable. Everything has its ups and downs. Therefore, if we want to succeed in life, the key is not to eliminate pain entirely (for that is impossible), but rather to learn how to understand and accept the pain. We must be willing to endure some inconvenience and discomfort to achieve a worthwhile goal because pain is the price we have to pay for pleasure. What we call “pain” is frequently a matter of “effort.” The effort of physical fitness is painful. The effort of thinking through a complex idea is painful. The effort of building a long-term relationship is painful. From here we see that although effort may be “painful,” the goal of life should not be to escape it. Anyone looking for a smooth ride will miss out on life’s immeasurable pleasures. As Bernie Siegel said: "One cannot get through life without pain. What we can do is choose how to use the pain life presents to us." Pain is something unavoidable, the only thing we can do is to get used to it. In ‘yoga’ when
One reason why most men seldom accumulate fortunes until they have passed well beyond the 40-year goal post of life is that they must undergo failures and adversities and overcome sufficient obstacles to develop in them sufficient knowledge to accumulate wealth.
Not everything that you desire will be given to you. I learned this quite well within the first years of my life when I saw children my age having the “hottest” new toy, or the best new sneakers, and compared them to the second-hand stuff that I owned. Such things often include the investments of time, money, and hard work. My parents always reminded us that whatever we had within our reach we were lucky to have, but anything out of our reach we would have to earn ourselves. If you want something serious enough, put in the work, have perseverance and diligence, and devote the time; you can get to where you want to
the expectation that the means to achieve goals is to work harder than others.” (McGraw−Hill,
To most people, pain is a nuisance, but to others pain controls their life. The feeling discomforts us in ways that can sometimes seem almost imaginable. These feelings can lead to many different side effects if not dealt with or diagnosed. These effects can include depression, anxiety, and incredible amount of stress. The truth about pain is that it is vital to our existence. Without the nervous system responding to pain, we would have no idea if we were touching a hot stove, being stuck by a porcupine’s needles, or something else that could leave a lasting effect upon our bodies without us even knowing anything about it.
There are tons of people in our world today who have become very successful and these people find success in different ways. Some people work hard their whole life to achieve success and others just seem to be born talented in
matter how hard people wish on a star or on a candle, the wishes never seemed to be
People achieve their goals through hard work. Michael Jordan isn't great basketball player because he was born that way. Marissa Mayer, a former Google executive, didn't get to her spot without any effort. When I started playing guitar, I didn't learn the instrument without any work. Instead of luck, it's through dedication, perseverance, and commitment that people succeed.
The most overall successful people in the world didn’t simply follow a straight path to success. As human beings, there are more than enough mountains to climb and fears to overcome. I have found myself in some of the most difficult situations at times and I somehow made my way out of them with tougher skin to work with. Through these seemingly insurmountable challenges, I persevered and have found that there is hardly any such thing as luck. There is only hard work and laziness.
Hard work always pays off. These words were constantly repeated to me from a young age. My parents would tell me if I wanted to be successful, I needed to work at it and give it my full attention. Luckily, I decided to listen to them, and I can honestly say that it has paid off.
We want to believe that people fail because they deserve to fail and people succeed because they earn it. The truth, however, is that not all hard work pays off, not all successful people deserve it, and good
"There is no royal flower-strewn path to success. And if there is, I have not found it - for if I have accomplished anything in life, it is because I have been willing to work hard."—Madame CJ Walker
It makes us feel sad or helpless, feelings no one wants to experience. But, despite all our efforts, pain always finds a way to borrow into our lives. It can’t be stopped, merely delayed in some instances. It can show up as, say, a broken arm, or even the death of someone close to us.
Only a few percentage of people in our lives achieve success. Most of the people believe that success implies wealth and wealth implies success. In reality, neither of those things are true. Although money directly correlates with financial success, achieving true success in life and becoming rich are two different things. A man can be poor and
You only get out of it what you put into it. If you don't put anything in, nothing will come out. I have heard this quote many times before. It is my own personal philosophy. I believe that working hard pays off. I believe that my hard work will have a good outcome some day and it will not go to waste.
Success or failure in life is created by how you think. A mindset that is fixed in stone believing you either have talents and abilities or you don't leads to failure.
