Employers will set realistic targets for their employees. Setting unrealistic targets will not motivate the employees to work and also this may indicate bullying. The employers will encourage them to achieve their target by offering rewards and bonuses. Employees will be happy with the outcome as they would be paid extra pay from commissions and rewards for the achievements. For example, a sales assistant in Maplin will have a target to sell a certain amount of products and they will be set by the managers.
