Texas like any other state in America has its own separate forms of culture, historical backgrounds and an individual political system. Culture is defined as the historical experiences, values, and customs people share in a common area. Political culture is the link we as citizens share between ourselves and the government. It's known as a set of widely shared beliefs, attitudes, and values about our government and its politics. But unlike other states Texas shares a unique political culture due to its past as an independent republic until 1845 followed along with its isolation in the twentieth century and its great amount of terrain.
