What Is The Change In Act 2 Of Hamlet's Third Soliloquy

In Hamlet’s third soliloquy we see a change from act one two act two. In act two we find Hamlet is more calm and collected. He is slowly starting to get his act together. He is not as emotionally strung out as he previously has been. However he is still sad, but not as sad as he previously was. In act two Hamlet says, “O, what a rogue and peasant slave am I!”(Act 2, Scene 2, Line 482). Hamlet is starting to see that he may have not been acting very well, and that his thoughts of revenge are not the best. He is now talking about how he does not plan to seek revenge on his uncle at all. Rather Hamlet is more upset that he can not get his act together.
