We all know what the Internet is. The Internet is something we use daily. Using Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, or going online shopping is our favorite. Professor Mark Bauerlein claims that those under the age of thirty are “the dumbest generation.” I agree with Professor Mark Bauerlein because with just a click anyone has access to the Internet. The quick, easy access of the Internet causes our generation to spend more time online in our everyday lives, allows us to do any type of research online, and spending hours at the library is no longer needed. In fact, the quick, simple access to the Internet causes our generation to spend more time online in our everyday lives. As the years go by, technology advances furthermore every day. Survey research shows the intellectual habits that complement them are slipping. (Source 1) This easy access to the information we can learn from has shaped what our society is today. With these new social media, teenagers are glued to their phone more than ever before. Teens then share their creations and receive feedback from others online. The digital revolution provides miraculously quick and effortless contact with information, wares, amusements, and friends. (Source 1) You’re not going to have much trouble searching up information because, with just one click, you’ll gather all the information you need. The Internet has made our lives easier by giving us feedback on what we search up. A few Google searches, some quick clicks on hyperlinks, and I’ve got the telltale fact or pithy quote I was after.
