“Prufrock” The movement and the splendor of this poem determined by Prufrock is talking about love in poetic manner, but also insecurely. He starts with saying You and I and at the end says We with a sad ending involving the readers. For example, “We have lingered in the chambers of the sea” (l.129) saying that subterranean level which is deep down like Dante’s hell mentioned in the beginning and the lower things mentioned throughout the poem. He also goes back and forth by revealing his emotions in sensitive tone. He also confuses the past, present and the future at the same time.
