Preamble We the people and zombies, of New Texas, shall form a country from the fallout of the zombie apocalypse. The goal of this document is to define the roles of our newly formed government, the contributions of our residents, define the methods of promoting and controlling trade, healthcare, the laws of our society, and the framework for interpreting and adopting this document. This document will become the supreme law of the land. Our constitution is designed to uphold policies which do not promote an agenda but to provide for ideas which create solutions for our country at large. Due to this reasoning our federal government shall be reigning as the supreme decision maker of laws. This constitution also guarantees individuals …show more content…
1. 3/4 of state representatives agree to make a change to the constitution and 2. 60% heads of the federal government agree to on the specific change. 3. The elected presidential body agrees on a change in the constitution. States representatives are chosen by individuals in a state run election by directly voting between the participants of the election in their county. Each state initially shall have five representatives and will receive one more representative if their population grows more than 2 times than the average rate of population growth of other states per year. This is due to inability of five representatives to represent the growing interests of states. Role of States and Government The states will have some authority and hold most of the powers but they will have to still abide to the federal government’s supreme authority. First and foremost, powers that aren’t given to the federal government are left to the states but the federal government can oversee it if they abuse their power or are using it not in terms of the right of law. There will be cooperative power sharing. States can make laws and policies but only for the people of their state to protect individual rights and can't make any laws that disregard any privileges given. It is designed so that state laws can differ according to local circumstances. The Federal government’s policies are to
Think of the word tyrant. Now just imagine that there was a simple and easy way to stop him or her. That’s what the constitution has done for the U.S.A. Our Constitution has protected us against tyranny since the day it was drafted. The constitution is an official document that was written in May 1787 in the city of Philadelphia Pennsylvania. The purpose of the constitution is to form a central federal government, to form a separation between federal and state rights, and to give personal liberties to its citizens.
Article I of the Constitution lays out the basic format of the legislative branch. The document states that the power to create laws or change existing laws lies with Congress, a government body made out of two chambers, the Senate and the House of Representatives. Each state, regardless of size or population, has two senators who are elected directly by the public according to the 17th Amendment. The House of Representatives, on the other hand, is dependent on population, and a state 's number of representatives is determined by the U.S. census every ten years. For example, Alabama 's state

Theoretically, the U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the land. However, its authority is often compromised by its ambiguity and vagueness. The lack of a logically coherent system where complete statements are supported and ideas can be traced back to single statements allows the Constitution to be willfully interpreted, and these loose interpretations tend to stir up arguments among opposing groups. In order to ensure its authority, the Constitution should be rearranged using an axiomatic system on which all laws are created and proven.
The structure of our American Government was founded in the Constitution of the United States. The Constitution was written to be the “supreme law of the land,” and produces a democratic republic, where citizens govern themselves (Our American Government, n.d). The purpose of our government, is to “establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessing of liberty to ourselves and our posterity” (Our American Government, n.d.). For our country to accomplish this purpose our Founding Fathers created three principles, “inherent rights, self-government, and separation of powers” (Our American Government, n.d.). The government was developed to ensure order in society and protect its citizens, but with all systems, there is strengths and weakness, let’s examine those strengths and weakness. Let’s first look at the strength and weakness of the U.S. Constitution.
Tyranny is a monster; a dictatorship in full force, and one operation that can demise the greatness and the tenacious power of a country within months. But the United States of America, the country with the longest standing Constitution in history, disregards tyranny as impertinent, as George Washington had once said, “A free people ought not only to be armed, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which may include their own government.” The United States Constitution encompasses the fundamental laws and provides the guarantee of many basic rights to the citizens of the country. It establishes the national government of the United States. The document
The United States Constitution was drafted up to help America grow as a country and be a country where everyone wanted to live. It was written as a guidline to follow to ensure its citizens rights and liberties, and their pursuit to happiness. There is a lot of controversy over the US constitution on whether or not some of the things in there are good or bad or what not. I think that the United States Constitution was very well written and it follows a very principalistic guidline and it has its own moral and principals. Just like the unalienable rights that everyone talks about. These rights are meant to stand for its people. They cannot be taken away from the government, they cant be tampered with by the government or anything like
The United States Constitution is set up for democracy like the colonist wanted. The constitution prevents anarchy and protects your rights. As a citizen you are protected by the Bill of Rights. We are entitled to freedom of speech, religion, and have dual process. We have guaranteed rights, separated powers of government to prevent tyranny, and we elect our representatives under The United States Constitution. The United States Constitution is set up to keep up with changing times.
To begin with, the US Constitution is the foundation in which the country was built on and what also held the country together in difficult times. The constitution was established to keep states from operating as independent countries, and guaranteed certain basic rights for its citizens. “Before Each state acted almost like an independent country. Each ran its own affairs exactly as it saw fit, with little concern for the needs of the republic. The
The number of representatives for each state is based off of population. For every thirty thousand people living in each state, there shall be one representative, and to keep up with population growth, a census is taken every three years, as stated in Document D. Every state gets two senators, which are chosen by the legislatures, and each senator gets one vote, which is described in Document D. Having this system allows for a fair way to give each state a set amount of representatives without having one state more powerful than
Texas, amongst many of the state constitutions, has had a great deal of proposals to amend the state constitution. Reminiscing back to 1876 when the Texas constitution was adopted, there have been six hundred and sixty six prospective proposals to amending the constitution. However, of the six hundred and sixty six proposals, four hundred and eighty four have been ratified leaving the remaining few defeated by the Texas voters. Furthermore amending the Texas constitution, according to Article 17 of the Texas constitution involves applying a two-step process. The process starts off by obtaining a two thirds vote from each house in the legislature and a majority vote by the voters. The two thirds vote consists of having one hundred members from the House of Representatives and twenty one from the

.The states will all be represented in Congress and will have rights to make laws for their own states.
The law of the land instructs murder of those that deserve it. The law can inform our federal government with ways to deal with people that are convicted of a crime. The rule breakers publicize to the world as being criminals and they are forced to be shape into a new system. If the crimes are a taboo, then a stricter punishment will follow. That strict punishment adds death into the equation. Our federal system supports rules that are created by the justice department. The rules are people that are convicted of horrible crimes such as, raped murder, and arm robber to a higher degree, should be placed on death row. Not only that, but our federal government wants the punishment of the death penalty to be a warning to those that are
Timothy Pitkin: The government will be under federalism power. This means that power is dived between national and state governments. Any decision in both divisions will affect citizens. But of course not different decisions made in a different states. We will be a union but still separately as states.
