What Makes Obama So Great

Barack Obama has impacted America in many ways since he was elected the 44th president on November 4th, 2008. The first African American president of the United States has taken the world by storm and done many great things for this country. Barack Obama has accomplished many things in his personal life, and also as the president of the United States. Obama has affected the world financially, economically, and rebuilt our image as a nation.

Barack Obama has many achievements and will be remembered well in history. In the past year, Obama took action that directly affected the black community. High incarceration rates, police brutality, healthcare, and education were some of the issues he addressed.

The citizens of the United States know Obama as the first African American to become president of the United States and some even categorize Obama with civil rights activist Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Like Dr. King, Obamas’ legacy has been both be the chief advocate and the moral voice of the African American people. During Obamas’ presidency, he has accomplished several goals by promoting jobs, healthcare, women’s rights, and education, which all represent perfect examples of a civil right activist. Equality between all races and gender was the vision Obama saw and wanted to make happen.

Barack Hussein Obama will go down in history as a very illustrious person that has had a major impact on the world. Barack Obama grew up in a middle-class like home and was raised by his maternal side of his family. While the young Obama was excelling in school, he struggled to truly fit in with a certain race, as he was deemed to white for the blacks and too black for the whites. This lead to Obama engaging in questionable activities in his early adolescence, which he eventually cleared up. However, Obama was well aware of the racial split going on and he wanted to be someone that could help fix that. His desire to make a change led him to become the 44th president of the United States, Obama is now the leader of the free world and essentially

President Barack Obama will be seen as one of “the great presidents” by Historians. President Obama’s presidency will be seen as Historic because he was the first African American President. He served four years and was reelected for a second term with a high number of votes. He will be seen as great for his important accomplishment with the economy, healthcare, national and international leadership and more.

Conception also known as fertilisation is the fusing of two gametes. This creates an embryo which will eventually develop into a baby. All human life begins with conception. A fertile woman will usually produce one egg a month around 2 weeks after the last menstrual period.

It is important to remember that President Obama was not only unique because he was the first African American President, but his policies and ideas brought about hope and change in an era of modest political involvement, particularly among the poor and the millennial generation. During his time in office, he has helped the economy bounce back from the one of the worst economic crises, but he has also taken steps to advance science and technology as well as improve social equality for all Americans regardless of gender, race, or religion.

President Barack Obama was a huge part of the united states during mostly his entire life. Not only did he affect our lives, but he also did everything he possibly could to put the country in the best condition it could be in at the time. Little do you know, Barack started off with a normal childhood, just like some of us.

In the face of negativity from White and Black America, Obama continued to annihilate his White opponents one-by-one with his cool, charismatic persona and his high-level intellect. During this time, my lifelong Democratic family knew he was going to win the Presidency because the country desperately needed change from the status quo. Continuously, my parents watched CNN on a 24-hour loop, refusing to miss one moment of history in the making. On November 4, 2008, America elected Barack Obama as the first African-American President of the United States, winning 69.5 million popular votes; the highest number ever won by a presidential candidate, and 365 electoral votes. This was the most memorable positive political event that I had ever witnessed. On this day, the country as a whole spoke loud and clear on this day through the voting process. Furthermore, President Obama repeated similar statistics in 2012, serving as our President for two terms, leaving the White House with a 58%

From the history of white presidents Barack Obama has faced the racism throughout his terms of years in office, first African American to hold the office and the first president born outside the continental united states. Barack Obama had many accomplishments in his years in office, for instance, he worked with American Recovery and reinvestment acts of 2009, Tax Relief, and job creation act of 2010, etc. He is well known for the patient protection and Adorable Care Act, often referred to as, Obama Care.

He is the first African American to in history to run on a major ticket. In the beginning of his campaign a lot of people questioned his authority and wanted to know could he handle the responsibilities of a president for such a big country. “ I want to know how deep is your love for the people, what kind of courage have you manifested in the stances that you have and what are you willing to sacrifice for. This is the fundamental question. I don’t care what color you are. You see, you can’t take black people for granted just cause your black”. (C.West) These questions just made Obama a much stronger person and he continued to fight.

Having Barack Hussein Obama as our first black president was a dream come true. With the history of hatred in American for black people, it was a fundamental and delightful moment in history. There are a couple of things that I loved about our former president. First, he stayed strong and persevered through everything. Secondly, he went through both of his presidencies without any kind of scandal. Third, President Obama was not just a president for some Americans but for all Americans. Such as in his 2004 Democratic Convention speech, “There is no black America, white America, Latino America or Asian America. There is just the United States America.” Lastly, President Obama kept things real. In the midst of his presidency, he spoke about the shootings in American schools and killings of black people. When he spoke, he was firm and stated that Americans need to step up and look out for one another and treat each other the way they would want to be treated. On the day of President Trumps Inauguration. My heart broke because not only would this be the last time we would see President Obama as the leader of our country, but I was not feeling hopeful for the future with our new President. I feel very blessed to have been one of many to see our first black president that not only handled everything with class and dignity but was

Whether you are a woman, a man, Christian, Muslim, Jewish, native born, and immigrant, gay, straight, trans, latino, black, white, purple, or green. President Obama granted you the rights you deserve and encouraged others to do so as well. You have fought for women's rights, minority rights, and LGBT rights. Thank you for making us feel wanted and welcome here in the United States of America. We all know that President Obama is a moral being, an amazing speaker, charismatic, and just down right cool. But sometimes we take for granted all that you have given us. And Michelle Obama. Thank you for being an amazing leader and an amazing role model to the 157 millions women in this country. I know it’s hard to give up your presidency but as we witnessed in your final speech to the nation, you did it with class and encourage us all to do the same. Thank you. Thank you for all you have done to strengthen our nation. We will miss you tremendously Mr.

Barack Obama is in my opinion the best president to have touched down at the White House. Obama was able to get people of all ages, genders, and races to vote for him and support him. He won the states of Florida and Texas both times in his back to back election years. Obama was liked by many people from all around he had foreign presidents, and politicians they all wanted to meet with him face to face.
