Passion: What passion have you chosen to explore and why?
The passion I have chosen to explore is writing. I want to explore writing because I also really enjoy reading, and would like to be able to share this joy with others. It would be really cool to have someone experience what I do with my writing; it would make me feel great that someone else likes my work. Also, many people share my passion of writing and would like to write a book or something, too, but are unsure of how to start. My story and slideshow can be very welcome for someone like this.

What parts of the global context will be your focus? Why did you choose this global context?
Many global contexts could be a great fit for my project, but I decided to go with fairness and development. This global context describes what I will be doing with my project, which is to share resources with people and creating access to equal opportunities for everyone. I would be sharing the joy of reading and writing and books if I have money to donate. There would also be a slight peace and conflict resolution because many people cannot begin a story even though they want to, so my slideshow and book would help this problem. The access of equal opportunities comes into play from my slideshow, too, because it gives people access to my slideshow on YouTube which is available almost anywhere. I chose this global context, fairness and development, because it was not the most obvious one (identities and relationships), yet the description of it still fits my

I’m really excited for this project because I have never done something so momentous before, and the writing pieces I have completed have been quite spectacular in my opinion and the grade book’s, so I wonder what I can really do. What is my potential? What are my limits? Will other people like it? What will it look like and contain? With my project, the lowly opinions of reading/writing will rise, and the use of the library will increase (with people that actually read the book they checked out.) Imagine people’s lit up faces, and feel their esteems rise. Imagine under privileged children, malnourished from the world of ideas, with hopeful eyes. Their parents (if they have them) weeping in gratitude. If you don’t follow through, think of all the people you just let down, myself included, all of those dreams crushed, hopes shattered, ambition—gone (what ambition??) Think about
I am passionate about working in a child care setting with young children. I love to see a child’s face light up when they learn or try something new. Similar to this quote, “If you can read this, thank a teacher.” written by an anonymous. This statement made me giggled and lit up my face when I saw it on the back of a car. This made me think back to my teachers who had made a big impact in my life and taught me valuable lessons. My internship will display this passion by allowing me to work with children and help me gain the knowledge, training and experience that I may need to support the children in a child care setting.
I am very interested in literature. I love the idea of creating new worlds out of thin air or writing about the world we already live in. Reading is a big passion of mine. I love to be immersed in different worlds while reading; the experience cannot be replicated. I hope to be involved in literacy and writing someday, and make a difference in the world through words.
Describe an interest or passion. How did you become interested in this area? What motivates your passion?
Through the course of reading nonfiction, I found that the greatest lesson I have learned is from Sherman Alexie. In his essay, “Superman and Me” he reflects on how reading has impacted his life from early on. Although he experiences great difficulty of growing up with a Native American heritage and possessing great intellect, Alexie refuses to be classified as a failure. He faces struggles throughout his childhood, but his passion for reading served as an escape from his issues. The lesson of Alexie’s essay is to not let the negative voices of our peers to affect the positive views we should have in ourselves and our capabilities. Our potential is not defined by what people think, but rather it is ultimately how we utilize their criticism
Identify Major Issues: Describe the major issues, both current and historical that may or have impacted the need for the project.
I’m not a notable writer, nor have I really wanted to join the writing industry. However, I have been interested in other people’s writing. From their deep meanings, content, and different formats/styles. It’s a wondrous creation made from within our imagination and experiences. It has inspired me to write too. I’ve been writing most of my life that it has become a necessity. And now from my past experiences with writing, I try my best to improve my skills as a writer for the future.

12) Describe a project you could engage in with your students to address an issue important in your community.
I remember dedicating my life to that project, and putting everything I had into that dialectical journal to ensure that I would get the best grade I had in me. It's a slippery slope to the bottom. It's work like that which causes little lights to burn out. I remember the disappointment I felt when I received the grade everyone received--collected. And so I began to hate reading. And as I began reading less and less fantasy and more and more non-fiction and speeches and research, I didn't have the time, nor the attitude to read for fun. I knew the ropes, I knew what to look for, but the things I was reading about held no value to me. I respected the authors, and I respected the extravagant diction and syntax they had used. But I felt nothing. And all I could think was, what is a piece of writing if it doesn't make you feel anything? How do you credit it with greatness if it doesn't inspire you to become better, or leave a lasting impression on you? And so if I seem bitter, please forgive me, for I know that this is my own fault. Reading is something which can liberate us. However in some rare cases, reading, and writing become the chains that bind us. The things we prioritize become the things that cause our fears. There comes a time when you realize all of the ideas you've learned, all the opinions you’ve discovered: your teachers’, your friends’, your peers’. And suddenly you realize you
My end goal is to be able to work when I want to by age 50. So some of my career goals are to learn a trade that I love which is science, business, computers, and a tiny bit of sociology. These interests are what make me pursue certain career goals such as getting a job at a large corporation to learn science, business, and interact with people. The things that have helped shaped my career goals and interests are my friends, family, scientists, and books. I inherited a curiosity of the world from my family and friends and honed my curiosity, imagination, and sometimes eccentric ideas as well. I learned philosophy, laws of the universe, and what I am made of from the great scientists such as Feynmann, Einstein, MIchio Kaku, and many more. From

Journal, camera, and a bull horn. I am a writer, when I put my pen to a piece of paper I feel that I am allowing myself to be truly unfiltered."Many will travel to hear you speak". I saw this on a fortune cookie from Panda Express during a time when I was unsure on what I wanted to be and what my talents were. I always had a passion for writing and public speaking.
My passion is world history, I could sit for hours learning about things that have happened in the past life, the cultures, the epic battles; I want to learn all of it because it still amazes me till this day. I wonder all the different techniques that they used to build, craft and other inventions. I wonder of all the geographical studies, and other things. There have been many scientist and only a few a day discover so much, they discover new animals, species, and DNA of everything. One day I am going to be a geologist, and I know I am going to discover so much. It is going to be very hard to become this but with a little hard work I know that I can do
I don’t recall a specific moment in my life when literature became such an express full self-empowering art form. Nor can I remember a passage that could have struck a match that would light a fire in my soul, in which would then resonate a deep passion for the art of writing. All I know, is that one day, for some reason, I just wanted people to know how and feel what I felt. I wanted them to view my writings, starting from my name in the heading, to the very last punctuation mark of my conclusion paragraph, and be left yearning for more. When I write, I have the ability to give life to the thoughts I keep hidden and allow the world to hear my voice I keep silent.
