April 29-Rudolf Höss was the commandant of Auschwitz, and on April 30, Höss arrived at Auschwitz. May 5- The first 30 prisoners arrived at Auschwitz, as they were German criminals. June 14- The first transport of 728 Polish political prisoners arrived at the camp. In early July, an old bunker got turned into the first crematorium to dispose of the criminals who’ve died via natural causes. On November 22, the very first execution at the camp took place, as 40 polish prisoners were shot and then cremated in Crematorium I.
