What is time? What causes it? From the change of the seasons to when the sun rises and sets, time always plays an extremely important role regarding our everyday lives. Nobody will ever physically know what time is or how it works, but some say it started with a big bang that took place about 13.7 billion years ago. In science, time is measured. This is done by comparing two motions to one another. Determined on the speed of the object, time will choose to speed up or slow down however it wishes. Or, in some cases, won’t move at all.

Therefore, Violet’s hair has grayed because it has changed over time, as we had discussed previously. Before Violet’s hair had changed it’s color, it was brown.
