When deciding to purchase a computer you need to make a decision. Do you want to build your own, or do you want to buy one that is already assembled? I will be explaining some pros and cons along with the risks of each choice and helping you decide which option is the best for you. Building a computer yourself has some risk involved with the reward. Most of the time if you decide to build a computer it will be cheaper than buying one built, which sounds great because you’re saving money. While doing this there are some possible consequences you may run into. Building a computer requires you to purchase the parts and assemble it yourself. When ordering parts you need to be sure you’re getting the right ones. An example could be that you got a good amount of RAM but you later realize that your motherboard doesn’t support it. When buying a computer pre-built you wouldn’t have to worry about these issues. Another issue concerning building a computer can be inexperience. If you don’t know what you’re doing then you might have a hard time making things work. If you aren’t sure where to …show more content…
One disadvantage is customization. With building your own computer you get to decide what goes into it and you can make it how you want it. On the other hand, buying a computer doesn’t give you as many options. When you buy a computer it probably won’t have everything you wanted, it may be lacking a quiet cooling system, or it may not have as much hard drive space as you wanted. Another con is getting a nice computer is hard to find at a reasonable price. Most affordable computers aren’t built to the best of their ability. They usually contain cheap motherboards and other parts that can just barely run the computer which doesn’t give the user such a great experience. To buy a good computer that runs well is going to cost you a pretty penny compared to the affordable

Building a pc can be more reliable in many ways too. researching each specific part that is going to be in the build by looking at reviews for each one and the specs for each part. Reviews for each part of the computer that are bought prebuilt are not going to be displayed; The reviews for the whole computer are going to be displayed. Another reason building a computer is more reliable than buying one is getting the right price for each component that is going to be used. Companies will charge full price for every part and the price them
The fire at Miss Havisham's house was a very tragic event. This event was caused by her own doing when she got carelessly close to the fireplace and her dress caught on fire. Dickens included this situation in his book for the purpose of shock value and to surprise readers. The purpose of this tragic event was to symbolize the end of Miss Havisham's manipulation and deceit. Now to go into more detail I have included the topics in this paragraphs of their own.
In the story Canterbury Tales The prologue Chaucer explains how he really feels about how things are being ran and how things in the story make him upset about certain places. Chaucer is a man of his word, he likes taking people for his made up stories and make the characters say things that could get Chaucer in trouble, so his made up characters say them so people who get upset by them don’t come and beat up Chaucer. There are three types of places that Chaucer likes using satire. He uses satire in the church, men ruled over women and the difference between class.
Every fully functioning computer is made of the same basic components and here I’ll walk through the basic hardware you'll need for your first build. There are several components a computer. However, it’s important to first understand what each component does.
The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne is about the transformation of Puritan woman known as Hester Prynne who changed from being labeled as an adulterer to somewhat of a living legend. Roger Chillingworth, Hester’s original husband was supposed to follow her in the new world, but sadly he never did. As a result Hester had to fend for herself having no chance to speak up against authority. She wore a scarlet letter as a result of a secret affair with Dimmesdale; this relationship made the public view Hester negatively. This dehumanizing stigma disappears when Hester performs good deeds , bettering a reputation in a judgemental community. Her daughter starts out as a symbol, and it is not until she is kissed by Dimmesdale at the scaffold, that change begins to occur. Hester Prynne’s transformation is the most remarkable because she endures adversity at the point where an average person would break down in defeat . Consequently, she distracts herself with household activities and kindness towards people in need to improve her precarious situation. Pearl has to pay for Hester’s actions and can only be freed from the trap when Dimmesdale finally recognizes the girl. Once accepted by her new father, Pearl gains a new identity and has a purpose in the world.
I can also pick my list of components and compare the price of those components on multiple websites. Which then allows them to be bought as cheap as possible from one retailer in order save on shipping costs. Furthermore, while putting together my list of parts for the computer I will look to spend more money on the graphics card, memory, CPU and solid state drive. While spending less on the cooling system, motherboard, case and power supply. That is not to say building it my self does not have downsides. Chris Hoffman explains in the article “Should You build Your Own PC”. That “even for a geek, researching the best components, price-matching, waiting for them all to arrive, and building the PC just takes longer. Warranty is a more pernicious problem. If you buy a prebuilt PC and it starts malfunctioning, you can contact the computer’s manufacturer and have them deal with it. You don’t need to worry about what’s wrong. If you build your own PC and it starts malfunctioning, you have to diagnose the problem yourself. What’s malfunctioning, the motherboard, CPU, RAM, graphics card, or power supply? Each component has a separate warranty through its manufacturer, so you’ll have to determine which component is malfunctioning before you can send it off for replacement.” Thankfully each component has its own
In the following paragraphs I will be instructing you step by step on how to build your own PC (Personal Computer). It is recommended that you have general knowledge on computers. This means that you need to know what the different parts are and what they do.

The most obvious hardware component is the computer case. The case is where size comes into play. A bigger case allows more room for components. A bigger case is most often used for servers. For basic home computing needs, a small or mid-sized case is most common. Cases also
According to Brian Benton, a IT director/chief engineering technician, one of the reason to build a computer it’s because “It’s much easier to get exactly what you want”
