The jobs i've had during high school has been being a dishwasher at first at this restaurant in Milford called Palate “a place for your buds” It wasn't terrible I still dishwash for them every now and then. But now i'm a cook there which is pretty cool getting to make new dishes, make up new ones and just getting to cook and plate food. Definitely one of the better jobs mainly because i never realized I had a secret passion for food and cooking. Dishwashing was one of those jobs that became a hassle if you do it for to long term it starts to become a bit tedious but if controlled it's not bad just really wet, steamy, and hot working conditions and can't be afraid to get dirty. While cooking is one of the better jobs it still has its toll, conditions
The job I chose was a Dental Hygienist, I found this by searching up really good part time jobs. The reason why I chose it is because I needed a part time job that would help me pay the bills, and for a part time job this one pays really well. The hours for this job vary from 30-40 hours a week, per hour I make $34.39, annually I make nearly $72,000.
I used to work in an assisted living home for a few months. My job was to wake up the residents, bath them, get them dressed in the morning, and then take them to breakfast. I had about 5 residents every morning to get ready in 4 hours. I loved my job, but it was draining. I felt like I was taking care of young children, but yet they were adults.
For many reasons, a job I would never take is working at McDonald’s. The first reason is you are always on your feet. Customers are rushing around and they need their food immediately. You need to fill everyone’s order immediately. Second, customers can be rude. Customers may yell at you when you mess up the order. When breakfast is not served they may get argumentative and demand to have the Egg McMuffin sandwich. Next, you always smell the burgers and fries. You always smell greasy. In addition, you get stereotyped for having a bad job. People may look down on you because you’re doing a simple job. They might not realize how demanding people want you. Moreover, you could be cleaning up messes. Bathrooms can become disgusting and unhygienic.
There have been many studies and papers written about leadership by looking at all sorts of perspectives. More recently, researchers have started to look at the keys to leadership from a natural sciences standpoint. The world is starting to understand that our views of leadership in organizations have to be consistent with the nature of the world outside. Richard Wielkiewicz and Stephen Stelzner go so far to say that the key to effective leadership is by looking at and having a fair representation of all perspectives, that includes an environmental perspective. They not only give assertions about leadership as a whole, but they also give criteria for looking at leadership from an ecological standpoint as to better understand it.
Dish-washing was the first job I was able to attain after obtaining my Associate degree. Initially, the prospect of washing dishing wasn’t particularly appealing, but, as an undocumented student my choices were limited. Diversity comes in many forms and whiles my ethnicity and spoken language have provided me with access to a broader community (benefiting the public health clinic); it is my willingness to take any opportunity that has provided me with a diverse background. Being Hispanic and speaking Spanish has allowed for the retention of jobs, translating for doctors, and for the generating of bonds with Hispanic patients at the clinic. Translating for the doctor permits the patient calmness and faith that the doctor is looking out for
My first job is at a trucking company located in Derry. Adding a job to my schedule now was not too stressful because it was only the first week of my junior year. Also by now in high school everything is predictable the first few days of instruction. We start the first few days of instruction going over the course material and expectations. Thus, letting me have more free time in the afternoon the first week. I started my first shift on a Monday, it was so hot outside. I can remember seeing the heat rise off of the truck hoods. I restored headlights and washed a couple of the box trucks there for the day. I was surprised how easy this was, and remember going home and telling my parents “This is the easiest job ever”. I was beginning to get a taste of what it is like to have a job.
I had several jobs at camp this summer which included, watching my cabin, leading worship, and leading group games. Watching my cabin was exciting, but it was also tiring. I think the worst part was being woken up in the middle of the night if someone had to go to the bathroom. You would have to find their shoes and flashlight, you also had to wake someone else up to go with you. It was a struggle because with ten young girls it happened three or four times a night. I think the hardest part about midnight bathroom trips was waking up another kid to go with you. Another one of my jobs was leading worship during the daily chapel services. I led music so I had to make sure I was super energetic to get the kids excited. I also had to choose the songs wisely to get the atmosphere right each night. The kids loved all the songs and loved how loud and pumped we got. My last job was to lead group games and activities. Little kids love to play games which made it easy, getting the other counselors involved was the hardest part. We played steal the bacon, tag, capture the flag, and had a water balloon fight. The kids loved the water fight because they could get their counselors wet and not get in trouble. My jobs were all enormously stressful, but it definitely made me
One of the first jobs I ever got when I was younger was being a cashier at a Save- a Lot grocery store. I was 15 years old and I absolutely loved that job.
During high school and early college, I was employed at a Bar and Grill as a waitress. I was taught information about the business and communicated with vendors to do ordering. In some cases I would open and run the entire restaurant on my own for the first few hours of the day, which included both waitressing and cooking. Working as a waitress, I became skilled at doing many things simultaneously and learned how to make conversation with a variety of people. This job helped me understand good customer service and the importance of friendliness and attitude with not only customers but also other team members.
There are two reasons your glassware looks cloudy when you pull it out of the dishwasher. One is film. Hard water, incomplete rinsing and high water temperatures can all contribute to filming. To remove the film, simply soak your glasses in undiluted white vinegar for 15 minutes, rinse them off and let them dry. Etching, however, also causes cloudy glass and is a much more dire problem. Etching is actually tiny scratches and gouges in the glass. While filming deposits residue on the surface of the glass, etching pits and damages the surface. There is no way to fix an etched glass or remove the etching, Once the damage is done, it's permanent. Fortunately, there are ways to prevent it.
The film to be critiqued here, Furious 7, directed by James Wan and released this year in 2015, maintains a somewhat conventional approach to the adrenaline-filled action movie genre. Indeed, despite the high-flying, daredevil action and stunts that can be found within the film, much of this action is fairly conventional and, from a director standpoint, "safe." However, this is not to say that the film is necessarily generic or otherwise not fun to watch. On the contrary, the film manages to maintain a decent storyline coupled with action that is, if nothing else, spectacular and satisfying, if not particularly deep or memorable.
The Ten Commandments, a collection of regulations set out for the Hebrew people, were said to have been delivered to Moses around the thirteenth century BCE, while he was on Mount Sinai, by the Hebrew God, Yahweh. The foundation of Hebrew morals and laws were constructed solely on the Ten Commandments, from which they then formed additional specific laws under each category of the Ten Commandments. The Hebrew people undertook these commandments with the utmost seriousness. The Hebrews firmly believed that if they were to follow this collection of regulations laid out for them, the Lord would free them from slavery in Egypt. As a result of the Hebrew people following the laws in which their God had laid out for them, they did indeed become free
