When Malala Stood Up For Women's Rights

Malala Yousafzai was for women's rights. She stood up for the right of girls around her, and around the world. She discovered that nothing would change unless she did something about it and that’s exactly what she did. She stood up for her education and the education of other women around the world, even in the face of danger she still stood up and did not back down. “Malala is a very influential person who deserves to be recognised, and she was. She went on to win the Nobel Peace Prize for her actions.” ( Kelter, 2016, Para:1) “When Malala was on her way home from school on October 9th,2012, a man boarded the bus Malala was riding in and demanded to know which girl was Malala. The gunman fired at her, hitting Malala in the left side of her head; the bullet then traveled down her neck.” (Kelter,2016, Para:8) After all of that, she was encouraged instead of being discouraged to do more for her …show more content…

(Kelter, 2016, Para. 1)She said that it was not fair and so she decided to do something about it. When she stood up for her rights, it encouraged others, I am sure, to do the same or to at least support her. (Sarran, 2015, Para. 3) Malala has started a found to raise money to start school so that girls across the world can get an education. “Her persistence is paying off, because since then she has received donations and grants from organizations across the world.” Now, some of the girls are getting a 12 year education because of what Malala stood up for, and did not give up and that is why it was a success. ( Sarran, 2015, Para. 5) Malala has long changed the lives of girls all over the world. She has given them education and has been an example to all who have listened. No matter what it came to, she never gave up, and I believe that she never will. Malala has stood up for the rights of women around her, and around the world. Malala is a success in every way, so what are you going to do, to become a success
