White’s Restaurant is open Monday-Friday 6:00 am-2:00 pm and Saturday 6:00 am-10:30 am; therefore, they work over fifty hours per week., yet the owners, Mr. and Mrs. Carroll White, are kind enough to take the time to teach me everything they know about the restaurant business. However, White’s Restaurant exhibits a conservation management philosophy by maintaining the status quo. They are not open to investing any money in technology such as POS systems, computerized registers, or Excel inventory programs, nor did they believe they had any purpose for it. Clearly, they do not spend lavishly or give large raises.
