We are all people that were put on this earth for a reason. Rarely, do people actually discover what that reason is. Along the way, people become lost in the world of society and forget to find themselves and achieve what they were originally called to do. Society is directing people by telling them how they should live and what they should do with their life; when in reality, people should be making the their own ultimate decisions. Humans need to realize that they do have an individual identity and purpose apart from what society believes. In my opinion, to achieve sustainable wellness you should be able to unravel your identity by answering the unknowing questions of "who am I?" and "what is my purpose?" Though I am still searching for the answers to these questions myself, I am determined and willing to find my purpose aside from society 's views. The following twelve concepts will each evaluate the questions of "who am I?" and "what is my purpose?" in regards to the various sections of wellness. By examining each concept and analyzing myself, I hope to achieve a greater understanding of who I am and what I am called to accomplish. Mission and purpose are the first of the twelve concepts of wellness. From a young age, I knew that I wanted to grow up to become an elementary school teacher.
