Who do you call when the police murder? A question probably asked by million of Americans in today 's day and age. As time goes on it seems as if police brutality has gotten worse and it does not look like there are going to be any changes anytime soon. Most people think that police brutality is based off of racism, and I can totally understand why. Our parents, grandparents, and great- grandparents have all single handedly witnessed the many year of police mistreatment of others, from the slavery days to the Civil rights movement of the 1960’s and to present day America. Most of the police brutality shown on television, social media, and other forms of communication and socialization is done against people of color. People of color include African-American, Arab, Muslim, Asian, etc. But what the media doesn 't show you are that even though a large part of law enforcement is of Caucasian descent they brutalize their own people too. They racially profile people by their clothing, the look of their transportation, living area, the type of music they listen to, and a wide variety of other thing to sort out the delinquents from the people who look as if they uphold the law. A 2014 Nationwide statistic was done and there were twice as many Caucasians (414) killed by police than African American (233).Which shows that police brutality is not a race problem, it’s a systemic problem, a problem within the police force, training, and mind of those who’ve been given the job to serve…
