Lastly, Tybalt is contributing by getting in a fight with Mercutio, which leads to fighting with Romeo.These three people caused Romeo and Juliet’s death, Lord Capulet, Juliet, and Romeo. Lord Capulet was the very first person to contribute Romeo’s and Juliet’s death. When Juliet and Romeo talk about their marriage Lord Capulet gets too strict on who Juliet marries. Juliet wants to marry Romeo but Lord Capulet is too strict. Lord Capulet wants Juliet to marry Paris, but Romeo has something coming for Juliet. Romeo leans in to kiss Juliet, “ Sin from my lips?, O trespass sweetly urg’d!” Juliet says, “ you kiss by th’ book”( page # 58 ). About a week later they set a marriage date. There are a couple of people I think are responsible for the death, but it all comes down to one person, the families of Romeo and Juliet. Now, there are a couple of reasons why I think this. The constant feud between the families is definitely one that I think affected their deaths. Romeo and Juliet not being able to be together was like a sin to them. They could never be together and always had to find a way to see each other even for a second, their love was unbearable.
