In the story Romeo and Juliet, the story had a young couple who got married and had a tragic death due to their forbidden love. The couple was Romeo and Juliet they both were from rival families. They were rivals with a love that can only be kept secret due to the rival’s hatred to each other. This led to the death of the couple due to the other characters in this story. Who was at fault for the couple’s tragic death? I believe Tybalt should be at most fault because of his unending rage towards all Montagues because he was a Capulet. Romeo then seized all thought and dualed tybalt to a life and death situation. Benvolio then saw the finale of the dual it was Romeo who slew tybalt. Benvolio then said “Romeo , away, be gone! The reason he didn't want them to fight was because he was married to Juliet who is Tybalts cousin. In the story Tybalt is considered to be short tempered and has the most hate towards montagues. Another reason to vote was at fault was because he was always causing trouble for both families known as the Capulets and Montagues he also was the character who kept the hatred alive between both families. In the party of the capulets when he saw Romeo, son of a Montague with other Montagues who came to dance. Their arrival made Tybalt furious enough to tell lord capulet. Lord Capulet then decides to let them be but Tybalt kept on bothering Lord Capulet who then scolded him for causing his stress. Looking at the events leading up their deaths, Tybalt has always been their progressing the problem, rather than attempting to make things better. Tybalt instantly wanted to get revenge on Romeo, after Romeo showed up uninvited to the Capulet’s party, despite Lord Capulet assuring him it was fine. The quote, “This, by his voice, should be a Montague.- Fetch me my rapier boy,... to strike him dead I hold it not a sin” from Act 1, Scene 5 shows that Tybalt was planning to battle Romeo. Tybalt came to fight Romeo, but Romeo, who had just secretly married Juliet, did not want to, as they were now family.
