Who was Muhammad and what is his significance for Islam?

Muhammad or Mohammad was born in 570 CE and died on 8 June in 632 CE is the figure of Islamic nation and he is identified as their founder by non-Muslims. Muhammad is mostly known as the "Holy Prophet" to the Muslim nation. He is some what as the final prophet of God to restore Islam and is believed to be understood by the Muslims to be the original monotheistic faith of Adam, Abraham, Jesus, and other prophets. Muhammad united Arabia into a one Muslim polity and made sure that his teachings, practices, and the Quran, formed the basis of Islamic religious belief. The Muslims had believed that Islam is a faith that have always been here on this earth and that Islam gradually revealed to humanity by a amount of of prophets, but the final and complete revelation of this faith was made through the Prophet of Muhammad in the 7th century.

People who encourage or support iconoclasm are called the iconoclasts, a term that comes to applied figuratively to anybody who broken or disdained the established conventions. People who are revere to the religious images are called iconolaters. In Christianity, iconoclasm was generally motivated by a literal interpretation of the Ten Commandments, which had forbid the making and worshipping of graven images.
