Although there are many reasons for the death of the two main characters in Romeo and Juliet, most people blame the parents. I believe that, although the parents have some responsibility, it is Romeo's fault. Romeo obviously was a ladies man. In the beginning of the play he was head over heels in love with Rosaline, however soon abandoned her for Juliet. He acted the same way with Juliet as he did with Rosaline. I believe he didn't truly love either of them. Juliet was extremely young and had no experience with love whatsoever. Having Romeo "love" her so much probably made her feel special, and if they hadn't commit suicide, I think they would've ended up realizing they didn't really love each other, but having
There are many people contributed to Romeo and Juliet’s Death. First, the main person to contribute their death was Lord Capulet.. Juliet help cause her own death. Lastly, Tybalt is contributing by getting in a fight with Mercutio, which leads to fighting with Romeo. These three people caused Romeo and Juliet’s death, Lord Capulet, Juliet, and Romeo.
“From for the fatal lions of these two foes, a pair of stare-cross’d lovers take their life’s, whose misadventur’d piteouse overthrows? Doth with their death bury their parent’s strife” (Shakespeare). Many deaths are caused due to this tragic love. The person responsible for Romeo and Juliet’s death is Friar Laurence due to the fact that he was a misleader, reckless and bad advisor. Even though he was just trying to help these two young lovers, he made things lead to a tragedy.

“Romeo and Juliet” is one of Shakespeare’s most famous tragedies. With a few different decisions by the main characters, the story could be altered completely. Romeo and Juliet were a pair of “star crossed lovers” however, their love was forbidden to an ancient grudge between their families, the Capulets and the Montagues. Despite the grudge, the lovers decide to secretly marry. Their decision results in a large amount of turmoil when Romeo gets banished when he kills Juliet's cousin, Tybalt. In an attempt to get back together, their death ensues. Many debate about who is responsible for their death, I believe that they are responsible for their own deaths because they were too hasty, broke rules, and were irresponsible.
Romeo is to blame for the death of Juliet and himself because his intentions in the beginning of the story were of lust and not love. Romeo states, “Oh, she doth teach the torches to burn bright! It seems she hangs upon the cheek of night like a rich jewel in an Ethiop's ear, beauty too rich for use, for earth too dear. So shows a snowy dove trooping with crows as yonder lady o'er her fellows shows. The measure done, I’ll watch her place of stand, and, touching hers, make blessèd my rude hand.
Friar Lawrence the one that was most responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, the nurse played a big role in the actions that lead up to the tragedy that was the death of two young star crossed lovers. The nurse was looking out for Juliet and doing what she felt was best.Even though Friar Lawrence helped the two star crossed lovers get away with a lot of their plans involving their love, his intentions were good and honest. Romeo and Juliet's death was also their own fault they knew what they were doing and what the consequences could be. but there love blinded them and the only thing that mattered to them was that they were together. So many other characters and factors had a role in the death of Romeo and Juliet. The Friar's plan
Multiple characters are responsible for the death of Romeo and Juliet, But Friar Laurence is the overall guiltiest of them all. Let's begin when Romeo had found Juliet in a trance, he was completley unaware that she was not dead, all because the Friar did not take the time to personally tell Romeo of the plan. He was just relying on Romeo receving the letter that unfortunately did not make it to him. For example ".. A dateless bargain to engrossing death!"
The story Romeo and Juliet has many people to blame for the deaths, you could most likely think of a reason to blame each character. There were a few characters you could pick out that easily had more blame than the others. I believed Capulet, Nurse, and Friar Lawrence had the most causes of the deaths in the story, now you could easily pick out each character and have plenty of reasons to talk about why they were at fault but these three characters stuck out in mind the entire story. Capulet had numerous reasons he could be blamed for the deaths. He forced marriage upon Juliet without asking her what she wanted to do.
In the play Romeo and Juliet, William Shakespeare develops a story where Romeo is to blame for all of the deaths in the play. He is responsible for Mercutio, Tybalt, Paris and Juliet's death, and somewhat his mother's death as well. He had straight up killed Paris and Tybalt, but he got in the way of Mercutio and Tybalt fighting and caused Tybalt to slay Mercutio. He is also responsible for Juliet's death because when Juliet awoke from her slumber due to the potion Frair Laurence gave her, and once she saw Romeo dead on the ground she took his dagger and stabbed herself. He also is responsible for his own death by killing himself. Finally he is responsible for his mother's death because once she found out about dead Romeo she died of a broken heart of a heart attack.
In the story of Romeo and Juliet, the young couple’s unfortunate demise is a result of their imprudent choices. The first poor decision that Romeo makes is when he goes to the Capulet’s ball where he first meets Juliet. This action occurs on page 1004 when Romeo says, “I’ll go along, no such sight to be shown, But to rejoice in splendor of mine own.” In this quote, Romeo agrees to go to the Capulet’s opulent ball. The consequence of going to this ball is simply that Romeo meets and falls in love with Juliet which starts the whole ordeal of the story.
Their vulnerability with the deaths, or thought of death, of eachother caused them to both go off the deep end. In the play, Romeo sees Juliet after he finds out she died, he believes at first he can live with it, he has hope. As Romeo stands with Juliet’s unconscious body, he starts to believe that he can not live without her, and kills himself by drinking a vial of poison. When Romeo believes that Juliet is dead he decides it would be in his best interest to kill himself, but he was weak, so he did it in the quickest, and most painless, way he could. Romeo and Juliet both decided, once they saw each other dead, they should take their own lives.
Have you ever watched the news and they are trying to figure out who committed the crime? In Romeo and Juliet, the same thing happens when both Romeo and Juliet are found dead in the Capulet tomb. The main characters in Romeo and Juliet are Romeo and Juliet who are in a conflict with their parents because their two families don’t get along because of a long standing rivalry. Romeo and Juliet secretly are married and they hide it from their parents. The people ultimately responsible for the death of Romeo and Juliet are the Montagues and Capulets because they were fighting and their kids loved each other and were sneaking around.
“Eyes look at your last. Arms take your last embrace. And, lips, O you the doors of breath, seal with a righteous kiss a dateless bargain to engrossing death!” (139). Those powerful words breathed from the mouth of Romeo as he arrived at his fateful doom of death by his own hand.
Obviously, Romeo and Juliet had blame in their deaths. Romeo was “in love” with Rosaline before Juliet came along. “I love someone. She doesn’t love me.” (Act I, scene i) In this quote, Romeo refers to Rosaline who doesn’t love him. He says he is in love with
