But, who was the person responsible for both of their deaths? There were multiple reasons that led them, but the main reason was Lord Capulet, Juliet’s Father. His actions caused the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. In the beginning, Paris asks Capulet for permission to marry his daughter in which in response he says that if his daughter consents, he would maybe let him marry her. But, after the death of Tybalt, Juliet’s cousin, Capulet decides that in order to cure his daughter’s grief over her cousin she should marry Paris later next week. Capulet thinks that she would be happy in marrying Paris but that’s not the case. She tells him that she refuses to marry him but can’t give an explanation why. He starts out saying she does not have to marry him if she does not like him, but then he forces her to marry him. He forces her to marry Paris because Juliet has had enough time to choose a man to marry. Also he forces her to marry him because Paris and Lord Capulet have become good friends. Joseph Stalin once said “Death is the solution to all problems. No man - no problem”. Joseph Stalin was a man who killed a lot of people which he thought was the solution to everything. Likewise, Romeo and Juliet saw their own deaths as the solution to their problems. The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare is about two star-crossed lovers from rival families. Romeo and Juliet's love was so strong for each other that since they could not be together they felt death was the only option. The death of the lovers bring an end to the rivalry of the families. Someone must have been responsible for this. Friar Laurence was responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet due to secretly marrying the lovers and making the death marked plan.
Who was at fault for Romeo and Juliet’s death? Although some disagree, I think that Romeo is to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s death. Women in the 14th century did not have much of a choice in their lives, and Romeo should know this. Only after he killed Tybalt did Capulet change his mind about the marriage. To begin with, Romeo killing Tybalt made the marriage worse.
How far would you go for someone you love? In William Shakespeare's, Romeo and Juliet the two play with fate. Essentially with the help of other characters, pushing limits. The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet is a book of fate and how everyone in the world affects the happenings of this world. The author of this extraordinary book is William Shakespeare. Although Romeo and Juliet killed themselves, there were many people responsible for their deaths. It is arguable that the parents of the two lovers, Friar Laurence, and Romeo and Juliet themselves were the most responsible, some could say that the other main characters like Mercutio, Benvolio, Tybalt, the Nurse, and Paris were involved as well. Before entering the tragedies of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, I believed that love alone would shape the two star-crossed lovers' fate. Little did I know, their fate was unexpectedly set in place by the wise Friar Lawrence and Nurse. While reflecting upon the causes of Romeo and Juliet’s deaths, I realized that Friar Lawrence and the Nurse influenced many immense decisions that had a significant impact on Romeo and Juliet’s fate. Therefore, Friar Lawrence and the Nurse are significantly to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s ultimate deaths because of their impulsive decisions and flawed guidance. Without these two factors provided by Friar Lawrence and the Nurse, the fate of these star-crossed lovers could have been different.
Romeo and Juliet's tragic ending isn't the result of a single person's acts; rather, it results from several interconnected incidents and individuals' decisions. Shakespeare skillfully crafts a story in which young impulsivity, family conflict, and societal expectations combine, with disastrous results. Benvolio, Friar Lawrence, and Romeo and Juliet are the people to blame for their deaths. Without their awful actions, their tragic death would not have happened. The first person to blame for Romeo and Juliet's death is Benvolio.
Have you ever loved someone so much you took another person's life than your own? How long would you have to know the person to reach that extent? Romeo and Juliet are teens who took their lives after just a few weeks of knowing each other. They had fallen in love so quickly they got married in secret. Some say the teens were foolish for getting married and later on taking their lives, but have you ever thought about the person who married them and was around when they took their life?
Maybe if her parents would have given her a chance to explain, then she would have faked her death, which also led to her killing herself. Another part is in Act 3 scene 5 Lady Capulet says “Marry, my child, early next Thursday morn The gallant, young, and noble gentleman, The County Paris, at Saint Peter's Church, Shall happily make there a joyful bride.” Juliet responds by saying “I will not marry yet; and, when I do, I swear It shall be Romeo, whom you know I hate, Rather than Paris. When this was done Lord Capulet said “Send for the county. Go tell him of this. I’ll have this knot knit up tomorrow morning.”(Act 4 Scene 2) Lady Capulet tried to correct him when she said “No not till Thursday. There is time enough.”(Act 4 Scene 2). Lord Capulet refused to back down so that Juliet wouldn’t have time to change her mind by saying “Go, Nurse, go with her we’ll to church tomorrow.”(Act 4 Scene 2), and “Tush, I will stir about, and all things shall be well, I warrant thee, wife. Go thou to Juliet, help to deck up her. I’ll not to bed tonight. Let me be alone. I’ll play the house wife for this once.-What ho? They are all forth?-Well, I will walk myself to County Paris, to prepare him up against tomorrow. My heart is wondrous light since this same wayward girl is so reclaimed.”(Act 4 Scene 2). This rushed the plan by 24 hours which made it harder for the letter to get to Romeo on time, and caused Juliet to take the potion early. Then he had the funeral where the public could see her and think that she is dead when she really wasn’t so that Balthasar could think that she is dead and report to Romeo. This then led to Romeo getting the poison and using and then Juliet using a dagger because the one that she loved was
