They knew their parents would not approve of it but they still did it and kept it a secret. They only got married for sex and attention. Juliet’s father eventually decided that it was time for her to get married and the man he picked to marry her she didn't want. In the play she said “And before I am married to another man, I’ll kill myself.” That's what she did and so did Romeo since the two couldn't be together they decided not to be here at all. Instead of allowing his cousin to talk to whoever she wants Tybalt however will not allow her to talk to their enemy family (a Montague). Besides being the first to notice the romantic couple Tybalt is also the most violent and now wants Romeo dead. Also, in act 2, scene 4, lines 7-9 Benvolio (Romeo’s cousin) says, “Tybalt the kinsman to old Capulet, hath sent a letter to his father’s house.” In this letter Tybalt shares the Montagues that he wants to dual against Romeo. This now shows that Tybalt will not let the romantic lovers get off his mind and that even in act 2 he still wants to kill Romeo. Tybalt is only leading to Romeo’s death as well as trying to be the one to kill him. Unfortunately for Tybalt he does not kill Romeo but, at the dual Tybalt kills Mercutio (Romeo’s best friend) which sets off Romeo causing him to kill Tybalt. Romeo now has to run off into another town. This loses his communication with his priest, who sent him a letter to say they were faking Juliet’s death in order to protect him. When he finds out she is ‘dead’ he loses all faith in life and kills

The ending to Romeo and Juliet is very sad. How both of them died because of a family feud. At such a young age too. Many people played a role in their deaths. I believe that both the Montagues and the Capulets are to blame for their deaths.
Lord Capulet is to blame in the deaths for the way he treats Juliet and forces her into an unwanted arranged marriage. Juliet's family believes that arranged marriages is the right way to do it. In document D (DBQ
The first to attribute in Romeo and Juliet's death was the nurse. The second person to attribute to Romeo and Juliet’s death was Romeo. The final person to attribute to Romeo and Juliet’s death was Friar John. Therefore even though Romeo and Juliet are responsible for their own deaths, The nurse, and Friar John also contributed.
This choice is integral to their death for a few reasons. First of all, both Romeo and Juliet’s families are sworn adversaries. When Romeo and Juliet get married, they are almost giving themselves a death sentence due to the two family’s feud. Another consequence of the couple getting married is that Romeo and Juliet are now bound to each other. Later in the story, Juliet is going to be forced to marry Paris.
In the play, Romeo and Juliet, there are several significant details that help the reader point the blame as to who, is responsible for there death. First, the character Friar Laurence married them off. Another important detail is he helped fake Juliet death. The third detail important to the play is he tried to cover up what he did. These details are significant because these events lead to the death of Romeo and Juliet caused by Friar Laurence.
Romeo and Juliet is the famous love tragedy between two teens that fall in love but unfortunate death brings their families together. A common question asked is who should be responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet? Many people believe it is Friar Lawrence who should be held responsible since it was his idea to put Juliet in a death like sleep causing Romeo to believe she is dead and commit suicide. Tybalt should be the one held responsible though because his death caused Romeo to be exiled from Verona causing the couple to be separated. He is also responsible because even though Prince Escalus commanded the two families to maintain public peace, he continued fighting the Montague's.
The lives of sworn enemies taken by their love for each other, bloodshed and poisoned by the hands of their own. May god rest their souls.
Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare is a romantic tragedy and is known for its gruesome deaths throughout the story , the focal death , Juliet's death , is arguably the most memorable. Pin pointing whom may have caused this death is undeniably hard , but one may say that the person to be responsible is none other than Juliet herself. Elaborating on that , yes many can argue that her father is too blind sided to see that she she does not want to marry Paris , and her mother is not part of her life which has led to resentment , or the fact that thinking Romeo was dead may have lead to her death , but these are the things that happened around her , nobody forced her to kill herself , and she looked at the unfortunate events that has
Romeo and Juliet takes place in a city called Verona, and tells of the feuding families of the Capulets and the Montagues. The story focuses on the love between two lovers from these families, Romeo and Juliet. They are young adults, forbidden to love each other by their families, and have to keep their love a secret. There are many people who are responsible for their deaths, but if there is one character in this play that is most responsible, it would be Juliet’s father, Lord Capulet. Capulet is responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet because he refused to forget about the feud, didn’t remove Romeo from the Capulet party, and that he forced Juliet to marry a man she didn’t love so that he could have closer ties with the Royal Family.
Juliet is responsible for her and Romeo’s death. When he killed Mercutio he had to leave the city. Her mother and father still wanted her to marry Paris but she did not want to so she went to the Friar and he gave her a potion that made her sleep for 2 days straight. Her family thought she was dead so they put her in the tomb. That caused Romeo to drink poison and kill himself when Juliet woke up and saw he was dead she stabbed herself. That caused the family feud to die down and they became friends. Romeo and Juliet fell in love when they first saw each other. Romeo was head over heels for Juliet even though she was the enemy's only daughter. He used to be in love with Rosaline before he met Juliet at the Lord Capulet's party.
First of all, The Capulets and Montagues are most to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. They would not let Romeo and Juliet be together because their families were involved in a feud. Lord Capulet is further to blame because he tried to force a marriage between Juliet and Paris. During Act III scene IV, Juliet discovers the death of her dear cousin, Tybalt, and the banishment of her dear Romeo.
The death of Romeo and Juliet in the play was a tragic ending that could have been avoided if they did not fall victim to many of the same problems that are the basis for many of our world (or personal) conflicts in existence today. Often there are disagreements because 1) information received is either inaccurate or incomplete, or 2) people take actions on prejudice or preconceived ideas and that lead to unnecessary conflict. The common solution in each would be to take a moment (or more) to fully think out our interactions with other people or other countries, before taking action. People should take time to make sure they have all the facts before taking actions, especially when violence is the result. If Romeo and Juliet, or the characters indirectly involved in their death, would have done so, Romeo and Juliet would not have died in the play.
In which the peacekeeper becomes the death-bringer. The ultimate cause for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet is the Prince Escalus. Not only has he banished Romeo, but he never solved the dispute between the Capulets and Montagues, failing to keep the peace in Verona due to their on-going rivalry. Doing so would have prevented many deaths that have occurred.
