Electric cars such as the tesla are stylish and great for the lovely environment. Today you are going to learn why electric cars are good for the environment, why it conserves natural resources, and how they are cost efficient. It's time to switch to electric cars so that we can live in this world peacefully and safely. Electric cars are great for the environment. This is true because they use electrically powered engines. It saves us from polluting our earth. China is polluting the earth by having too many factories. We can help them by using electric cars or even hybrids. Hybrids use gas and electricity. An example of a hybrid is a Prius. They are also very cost efficient. Using electric cars also conserves natural resources. An example
The author first explains what a hybrid is, stating “A hybrid is a cross between two established varieties of plant, animal… or technology.” She introduces the hybrid vehicle, a new form of technology that stands as a possible answer for a vehicle that is both energy preserving and safer for the environment. Before she dives into details of how the vehicle works, she enlightens the reader on what the article is about and the objective of the hybrid vehicle. Students enrolling in an engineering course in a post-secondary institution will be more
Everyone around the country needs to work to lower emissions into the air to reduce the greenhouse gases trapping heat in the atmosphere. I am not a fan of electric vehicles but, they are better for the environment than gas or diesel vehicles. They release less gases into the air and can be recharged almost anywhere with solar panel charger adapters. Some companies like, Tesla and VIA (General Motors Company) have made a dream for a person to own and be able to afford one.
Electric cars impose a serious risk on the oil and gas industry. The extent by which this market succeeds reciprocally defines the extent by which the oil and gas industry deteriorates. As with all forms of technology, there comes a point in time where one form of technology no longer appears to be useful in comparison with an applicable alternative. The current inhibitors of electric car adoption are the price of batteries and vehicle performance. With that being said, battery prices dropped over 30% just last year and are expected to continue dropping. Projections estimate that 35% of cars will have a plug by 20401. However, even in the next few years, companies such as Tesla, Chevrolet, and Nissan plan to offer electric cars on the market at an affordable price. The question then becomes: when the oil and gas market will be displaced by the electric market? If both markets produce a vehicle of similar price and quality, then it is reasonable to assume that a customer will choose the option that is more eco-friendly. The moral issue still remains: should the vehicles of tomorrow be fueled by gasoline or are viable options readily available and acceptable?
In this speech I have explored the history where they are today, and what is to come of electric cars. The electric car will get you to where you want to be without polluting the air. As Jay Leno once stated after driving the Tesla electric car, “If this is the future, I’m not that
Fully electric cars are the future of ground transportation. The use of electricity in cars will also have a massive impact on future transportation.
Electric vehicles should be big a consideration for the world. Our planet is suffering a lot due to climate change. It’s caused by burning fossil fuel and releasing its gas into the air and most cars today run on fossil fuel and it’s damaging our planet. Electric cars are clean energy vehicles, meaning it doesn’t damage the world. This is the main reason while society needs to consider manufacturing more electric cars and make them affordable and more well known. If a big part of the world’s population used electric cars instead of cars that runs of gas, it would be very beneficial to the world. But even with this huge benefit that
Through all of this information, Tesla and traditional gas powered car owners have learned more about the Tesla and how it is not as environmentally friendly as society may portray it to be. Hopefully the readers of this paper learn that you must be educated before they buy a certain product.
Imagine the world around us different than how it would be now. Less safe and more risk for diseases. People are finding it harder and harder to breathe the toxic air. It is becoming more unbearable each day. Arctic sea levels have risen. Gas prices are at an all-time high due to oil no longer being as easy to grasp. The world we live in is dark, gloomy, and filled with a life that is worrisome for us, and our future children. It is no longer livable for mankind, but how do we avoid such a troublesome future? What is some sort of solution to help the future of mankind to provide clean air not just for us, but for future generations? One simple solution to prevent this sad future is purchasing an electric vehicle rather than a gasoline vehicle. According to the union of concerned scientists in 2013, transportation contributed to more than half of the carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides, and almost a quarter of the hydrocarbons emitted into our air. This air pollution carries significant risks for human health and the environment. Through clean vehicle and fuel technologies, we can significantly reduce air pollution from our cars and trucks, while cutting projected U.S oil use in half within the next 20 years. Due to such high gasoline prices, the electric vehicles market has grown drastically in the past couple years. Electric cars are quiet, more energy efficient, save you money, and have zero emissions rather than a gasoline car. Therefore, I support the investment of an
Tesla and the environment people are really concerned about all the material used to build Tesla cars, they are having different opinions where some people think Tesla is using rare earth materials and it is not actually environmental, which is not really accurate, and many electric-vehicle batteries contain rare-earth minerals that are hard to come by and costly to extract. The Tesla’s AC induction motors don’t use rare-earth magnets. The more you drive it, the greener it becomes and mainly electric cars are squeaky clean, of course, in the sense that they don’t burn gas. with no car engine, no gas tank, and no exhaust, they’re considered as zero-emissions vehicles.
With all the sales on the new Tesla car, there is the question of if this car will be the better choice economically and for the environment. “Tesla aims to sell 500,000 electric vehicles (EV) each year by 2020.” With more people buying electric cars, then there are less people using gasoline powered cars. With less people using gasoline powered cars, there’s more help for our environment. Besides being better for the environment, these cars are cheaper than the past electric cars.
The world produces around 85 million barrels of oil each day. About a quarter of that percentage goes to the United States of America, which is used up mostly by means of transportations. Most people get around from place to place using a car, a car that is powered by fuel. Everywhere one goes driving, they will eventually run into a gas station but not a charging station for electric cars. Regular cars, burn off fuel that produce emissions (carbon, nitrogen, sulfur) that pollute and harm the environment. Although, there are some positives about switching there are also some problems that could appear but could be fixed. Electric cars have the potential to reduce the amount of pollution in the environment, boost the national economy and help
There is a serious problem facing the world right now. It is air pollution. The number one contributor to this epidemic is automobile emissions. We have all heard of the issues that are involved with air pollution including the depletion of the o-zone layer, the green house effect, and acid rain. The problem has been scoped from every imaginable angle, and now it is time to solve the problem. I propose that each of the ‘Big Three’ (Ford, General Motors, and Chrysler) car manufacturers be required to have 10% of their product line as EV’s By the year 2010. I propose this because it will be the start of cleaner air, EV advancement, and awareness of EV’s and how they work.
Climate change and transportation play a big role and it is important to be concerned for our future generations. The use of gasoline cars is a major producer in carbon dioxide emissions, although they are not entirely responsible for it—they play a role in it. Other form of transportations like buses and taxis also contribute to carbon dioxide emissions. The total amount of carbon dioxide emissions from an average car is seventy six percent which comes from usage of a vehicle containing gasoline. Efficiency has increased by twenty percent in regards to electric motors, especially when it comes to their wheels using no power when the car is at rest. Car ownership will increase and with this, improvements in technology could be a vital
If we could look at Tesla’s vehicle models and other electric vehicle models stripped down, with everything removed but the frame, wheels, and electrical propulsion system, we would see just how far Tesla has come in their design of the electric vehicle and how they have surpassed other car companies with their innovation. According
Cars are used by many people all over the world to get them from place to place. Most of these cars are powered by gasoline, some are powered by diesel, and some newly cars are powered electrically. Many people believe that electric cars can be the future of the car industry, but will most other car companies hurt from this? Electric cars use an electric motor to power the car instead of an engine, the owner of an electric car recharges the battery inside the car to power the motor. According to Tesla Motors, an electric car company, “Tesla possesses a high powered wall connector, which completely recharges the car in under 4 hours, and at max power, the high powered wall connector charges at a speed of 56 miles range per hour”(Tesla Motors “Tesla Vehicles Provide Attractive Environmental Benefits” 6). While electric cars do not have as much range as gas-powered cars, no emissions are made from the electric battery, which in result ends up benefiting to the environment.
