Question: How did ancient astronomers study the sky?
Answer: These people used their eyes to look at the stars, moon, and sun. They also used an astrolabe which could pinpoint and predict the moon, stars, planets, and sun’s location. This information helped them know when to plant their crops.
Question: What positive things does the sun do for us?
Answer: Life on Earth wouldn’t be possible without the sun. It gives us light and warmth. Also, by studying the sun, we can predict weather forecasts. These aided farmers in knowing when they should plant and harvest their crops. The sun’s energy also helps power many electrical appliances on Earth and in space.
