The seeds of world war II lies in the instability created by world war I. particularly the instability in Germany in the economic and political conditions due to the harshness of the Versailles treaty and as a result the rise of Adolf Hitler and his Nazi party
The great global conflict of the Second World War was started because of the inexistent actions taken to prevent the war. The Second World War did not happen directly, but there was a series of events that led up to the horrific war. The deadly World War II had begun by the inability to enforce the Treaty of Versailles, the corrupted League of Nations, and the failed policy of appeasement. These three points are long term causes which express thee reasoning for the outbreak of war.
World War II began in 1939 when the German armies decided to invade parts of Europe, therefore causing Europeans to retaliate against the Germans (World War 1). World War II began because those countries which were
The Treaty of Versailles helped start World War II in many ways. It made Germany take responsibility for the war. Germany was forced to sign the treaty and if they didn’t they would be invaded. The German leader, Adolf Hitler agree with the Treaty, but he signed it anyways. Later, the German army invaded Poland, which led to the start of World War II.
The Second World War started for many reasons but the most important were: the treaty of Versailles and the negative impact it had upon Germany, the foreign policy of Adolf Hitler and what did the other countries do to stop Hitler’s actions.
The main cause of World War II was the Treaty of Versailles. The Treaty of Versailles was signed to make peace after World War 1, and the War Guilt Cause stated that Germany was the cause of the war so they needed to pay off all of their debts. Germany lost plenty of land because of the treaty. This made life hard for Germans because they needed to find a new place to live and they lost a lot of money. Germany had lost this land because of the treaty; this made Hitler suggest that they should fight to get back what they lost(Doc A).
World War II began in 1939 when the German armies decided to invade parts of Europe, therefore causing Europeans to retaliate against the Germans (World War 1). World War II began because those countries which were defeated in World War I
The United States had to go through some events, before entering the world war with Germany. The United States had entered the war because Germany attacked american ships, the Zimmerman note was sent to the Americans threatening the U.S. president. There was also an unrestricted submarine warfare, the selling of weapons, lending money to allies, and wanting to make the world safe for democracy. World War 1 passed through many events in order to start the war.
The main reasons behind world war 2 World were land, fascism, and natural resources. World war 2 started off between Germany,Britain,France,Italy, and the Soviet Union later joined by America and Japan. World war 2 started September 2,1939 to September 2,1945 and was the most deadliest war in history with more than 30 countries resulting in more than 50 million military and civilian deaths. One main reason was land. After world war 1 Germany lost some of their land for war costs and it was used to make new countries. When Hitler came into office, he said he would get it back so Germany conquered Austria, Sudentanland, and started on Poland when Britain and France declared war. H-Hitler used his idea as dictator to take back land lost in world
The Treaty of Versailles was meant to prevent another devastating World War, but instead it gave rise to the Nazi party and started the Second World War. World War I was a deadly internationally battle that killed 10 million soldiers and seven million civilians, and wounded ten million more. Germany and Austria-Hungary fought against France, England, Russia, and the United States, and ultimately lost. After the war ended, the leaders of the world, except from Germany, met and formed the Treaty of Versailles, which was signed on June 28, 1919. This agreement was meant to prevent future German aggression through strict rules. In reality, it helped cause World War II by imposing territorial losses, military restrictions, economic reparation, and a War Guilt Clause.
There were other reasons that the Versailles treaty upset Germany and therefore contributes to World War II. For example, the territorial losses, the economic losses and the war guilt helped cause World War II. However the main underlying cause of the War was the War Guilt. In this the Germans felt humiliated and angry. Adolf Hitler was able to use this anger to to build German pride and strengthen the military. This evidently led to the formation of the Nazi party. The Germans were suffering from the losses the Treaty of Versailles and as a result Adolf Hitler took power which later he would help cause World War
The treaty of versailles caused world war 2 was because of disagreements and laws in Germany. One great example shows, “Germany must not exceed in one hundred thousand men including officers”(Doc B). When the treaty was made it stated that Germany had to reduce their military strength over a half which during that time was a joke. Not only does there military reduce in size but also, “The Allied and associated governments affirm and Germany accepts the responsibility of Germany and her allies for causing all the lose and responsibility of Germany and her allies for causing all the lose damage”(Doc d). The Allied powers sought to blame Germany for there crimes of causing the war, however that information is to be false. Russia actually started it when they claimed war on Austria Hungary, but even still Germany was blamed for causing the war which made people in Germany very angry. Lastly, “ The allies continued in the years after 1919 to regard treaty as an international contract but most Germans could even name provisions”(Doc d. N.pag). The treaty was still into play for only a few years only to soon be broken. Disagreements helped spark world war 2 as Germans took the blame and made them pay which aggravated them causing hatred towards the allies.
The Treaty of Versailles, which ended WWI, led to the start of WWII. The Germans as one of the axis powers in world war II were the cause of world war II. The Treaty of Versailles treated Germany harshly in at least three ways is Territorial Loss, Military Reduction and Economic Reparation and War Guilt.
World War II was one of the biggest wars known. The things people have done, the things that have happened in that war were so graphic that it has ruined the thoughts of people forever. There were so many causes of WWII; even just one would’ve been enough to make it happen. It has affected the lives of so many people, not only people that experienced it, but individuals who have looked upon it. It was such a powerful event with things to be learned. But, it all starts and ends somewhere; and to know that you need the causes and effects.
The Treaty of Versailles was created by all of the European nations involved in World War I. There was one country that was not allowed to have any say in the treaty and that country was Germany. Later, Germany and other countries would engage in yet another world war. The Treaty of Versailles helped cause World War II as seen through the German territorial losses, severe reparations placed on Germany, and the military restrictions placed on Germany.
