I have to give the guys directions. No mistakes. Yes, but this plan needs me and you. We haven 't felt that rush in a long time. We have to bring Mondli closer. Don 't put everything we 've worked for so hard for on the line. - Why do other cops take bribes, then? - Like you 've just said, our job is very difficult. That 's why sometimes you have to do certain things... so you can take care of your family. - MaMlambo and Mam 'Madlala fired me. - Are you sure about that? - I was fired because of you. - What? - I think we should take a break. - There 's no need for that. I 'll fix this. But the board and the elders of the church... have a problem with your thing with Jojo. So I wanted to ask that... this gay thing of yours... Please keep it outside the church. - Mother of my child, when are you coming back? - I 'm coming back today. - Should I pick you up from the office? - I 'll be alright. I gave you everything I had, and you threw it on the ground... - and stomped all over it! - I 'm sorry. And then you threw it back in my face. What are you sorry for? Just leave me alone! Hey. - I 'm exhausted, guys. - This is nothing. Here 's your bag. It 's so heavy. - Do you guys remember my cousin, Tiny? - Yes, the big one? She was even bigger when she was pregnant. Her feet were always swollen. All she wore were flip flops. She was always dragging her feet. She was so lazy. You could hear her coming a mile away. Are you alright?
“Howdy Emmett” Said Joseph. Then Emmet replied “Get to work and quit messing around.” “You know I’ve been thinking I’m going to tell I want a better place to stay, higher wages and less work hours…… I’m going to request to meet with him” Said Joseph. Emmet bewildered spun around with such speed it slightly spooked trampas and yelled “You Fool, three people have already tried to talk to him and he refused to even meet with them then he fired them!!!” “I think those are just rumors, everyone’s just to chicken to try.” Said Joseph. Annoyed Emmet glared at Joseph and said “Your job, if you lose it, it’s not my problem.” Emmett finished saddling Destiny and he rode to work with Joseph riding closely behind. They reached their destination dismounted and went their separate ways. A half hour later Joseph came up to Emmett dragging his feet and sullen. “Emmett” said Joseph. Emmet looked up from finishing his inspection. “What?” Emmett grumbled. “You were right, I just lost my job. He wouldn’t even meet with me” Joseph replied. Emmett glanced at him then said “What did I tell you?” “Yes, I know, you warned me. I’m going home” said Joseph. He walked over to Trampas, mounted him and rode off. 15 minutes later Jeff, Emmett’s co-worker came up to him and whispered “We are having a meeting 11 o’clock tonight at my place. Be there. Don’t ask any questions, just show up.” Then he walked away.
“What the hell did you two do this time.” She Shook her head from side to side. Her head dropped to the side, a frown forming on her lips. “I can’t believe I put up with you guys.” She lifted her hand to her nose, pinched the bridge of her nose and uttered out a sigh. She took in a deep breath, exhaling it slowly. She took one step closer to the two men, her head tilting to the side. “Show me the damage you have done.” She stated in a calm voice, but deep down inside her annoyance level for the two was starting to
“Coming” she said with her upbeat voice. “Oh, Mary what are you doing here?” she said confused. “Have you been sleeping with my husband?” I say practically screaming. At this point there is no calming me down. “Mary, before you say anything, it wasn’t my fault it was yours.” she said and god it made me madder. “Are you saying that my husband cheating on me is my fault!” I said while everything in the room is becoming blurry. “Well, it wasn’t my fault he wasn’t getting the attention he needed.” she said. I had nothing else to say, I was done with talking. I grabbed the closest thing to me and it turned out to be a gun. POW! Went the gun. Red liquid was everywhere and any minute now there will be a cop here. I was about to leave until I seen my green truck pull up in the driveway. JOHN. He ran up to the door and began to band on the door. “Holly, Mary has gone crazy and I hit her. God I love her so much I can’t loose her.” he says. I open the door, but hide behind the door. “Oh my god! Holly, I am so sorry.” he says out loud. He leans down crying and kisses her on her lips wiping the blood all over her face. Before I knew it I heard another POW! “ Mam, come out or we will
“Why didn’t you come find me? Why didn’t you fight for me?” She asked, wiping my tears and letting her tears fall down her face until I wiped them again. “I did try, I tried every damn day up until my mother made me leave to go to college. I tried fighting for you but he, he threatened me, I sold my drum set’s for you. All four of them.” I whispered and she hugged me. “Alright, I need to go talk to my boss about letting me get the rest of the day off and having somebody serve us.” She said and she kissed me one more time. “Oooohhh I think they’re getting back togetherr” Caum sang and she replied with “Shut it asian boy.” and with that she went into a room and left Calum in a bad mood for the rest of the time we were
Startled, a bright light cut through the night’s darkness and an intense beam of light shined on me. Trying to discern what my red, puffy, and swollen eyes were seeing, I finally recognized that it was a police unit. Exhausted, I thought to myself, “no, not now; I can not deal with this tonight”. The officer, Officer A, I’ll call him, asked if I was okay and for me to explain why I was crying and walking in the dark. As I explained he couldn’t believe that I was in the police academy, about to graduate in 3 weeks and wanting to just give up. Then, Officer A kindly says, “Judy, I know it’s hard and everything feels hopeless right now but look at how far you’ve come”. As he was talking to me, being incredibly patient, I didn’t want him to make sense. I was sad, mad and had made up my mind to quit. I didn’t want him to change my mind, but, he continued, “ you’re almost to the completion of the academy and you can’t give up now!?” I argued halfheartedly, “you’ve no idea what I’m going through”. Officer A chuckled, looked me in the eyes, pointed to his badge and simply said, “yes, I do know…” He continued, “didn’t you just tell me one of the main reasons you’re going through the academy is for your son”? Then he rationalized, “what reason will you give him on why you quit”? Officer A could have put me in custody for trespass or another similar charge but he didn’t. He just listened to me patiently, let me cry and gave me nothing but positive encouragement to turn a dark situation into one of light. To this day I hold Officer A in high regard. Because of him and his positive words that night, he changed my mind in a very critical decision making moment. In turn, I didn’t give up. I completed the remainder of those 3 weeks and graduated top 5 of my class. Shortly after, I became a police officer
Can you image America without the hep of police or government in general? Today, people judge police as terrible people who just are blood thirsty for someone to kill. They do not look at the bright side of what police do. They protect, serve, and support their community and yet people still treat them like trash. They must establish fear to be respect. What would the world truly be like if we did not have police officers trying to protect their community?
You are going to command unit three.” Pointing at all of the people in the room, “they are all under your command. However, a Sargent cannot command so many people…” Reaching into his bag and pulled out something she could not see. “Under the direct authority of the Police Commissioner and the Captain of this police force, I am promoting you to the rank of Lieutenant.” Leaning over to Rachel as her place the small rank insignia in her hand, said “Your father would have been proud.” Both saluted her as she responded with her own salute. Nodding to Rachel, she turned around and walked back to her
She closed her eyes and uttered out a sigh of relief. She was pleased that she made it to the Police Department without anything happening. A smile turned at the corner of her lips. “Hey, Patty are you okay?” The sound of his voice brought a smile to her lips, her head shook. “Everything is fine Barry. Is Joe in yet?” She asked her eyes opening to look at him. “Yeah, he’s over at his desk.” He lifted his hand up and pointed at Joe's desk. “Thanks, I’ll talk to you later.” She flashed him a smile and walked over to Joe. “Joe.” She spoke his name in a soft whisper. She reached her hand up brushing her hair out of her face and pinning it behind her ear. “I think someone is following me.” She cocked her head to the side and lifted her hands up in the air. “I know it sounds crazy but I really thank
“ Deputy, Deputy, anyone hear,” she screamed in fear. “ Ma’am what's wrong? “ My da-- daughter w- was kidnapped from our home and the person was dressed in black and hit me with a tool with medal around it and and I can't find her.” frantically said Mrs. Duvall. “ Let's go get a hearing with a the policeman and we will figure something out.” Said Jose the police chief. After the hearing the police were talking and walked out to Aria. “ What we have decided on is a run away,” said Jose. “ A RUNAWAY,” Aria yelled. “ There is no way in this earth that my daughter Mia ran away, we have lived alone since the creepy stalker that is still wed to me left, okay you get,” Aria shouted with mercy. “ I'm sorry ma’am”, said one of the other police. “ Wait you're sorry, no I'm sorry my daughter is in danger while all y’all are to busy eating jelly filled donuts and giving speeding tickets to someone who is going 1 mph over the limit, ya that's right I'm sorry,’’ said Aria with a passion. “ No one in this community should ever disrespect a police chief ever, I demand you to go, leave, never come
Thank you for coming.” Mr. Hackett said as he turned two gentleman in the corner. “These are Mr. Colon and Mchonn, I’ll leave you to talk.” “Hello Bailee, I’m Agent Colon and this is Agent Mchonn of the FBI.” FBI! That’s even worse then the police. “Do you have any idea why we are here?” “No, sir.” She was just hoping it had nothing to do with this stupid blog. “Do you know this man?” Colon asked, well more like demanded as he lay down a photograph of a man. “Yes, He runs the drug store in my hometown. Did he do something?” “He’s dead.” Colon said it has if he was order a burger and large fry instead of telling her that someone she had known since she was two was dead. “How?” I asked. Mr. Adams was a nice old man and didn’t have an enemy in the world. “He was murdered, shot 10 times to be exact.” Wow, ten times! “And how do I fit in to this?” “We received an anonymous message saying you knew what happened.” And with that Mchonn handed her a piece of paper. One it was
“Sweet, we’re doing the right thing Jasper.”, Ray said with a grin, “I know”. Colleen walked into the kitchen still half asleep, “Good morning”, I said, “Good morning”, she said yawning. “How’d you sleep?”, Ray asked, “Good, how about you guys?”, “As good as it’s going to get.”, Ray replied. “We want to talk to you about something, I said giving her a smile, “We would like to come with you and help with your father.”, “Guys, I can’t ask you to do that. This is my situation and I’d just feel ba-”, “We want to help you and your father, we can tell you’re a good person.”, I said cutting her off. She gave me a hug and then one to Ray, “Thank you guys so much.”, “No problem, it’s the least we could do.”, Ray replied. “Are you sure about this, you really don’t have to.”, “We want to.”, I replied. “Okay, there’s a pharmacy up the road, we need to look for my father’s medicine there.”, said Colleen, “Have you been there yet? Is it safe?”, asked Ray curiously, “I haven’t been there… I don’t know if it’s safe or not.” “We better get some guns loaded,” I said join in on the conversation, “Just in case.” “I agree,” says Colleen. Ray starts walking out of the room, “Well let’s get goin’.”

“Look, it’s been one hell of a day, we left at 11 am, got on a plane at 6 pm, now we’re here talking to you, you probably don’t even know what I am saying, but you’re going to listen. Because I will not sit here at 3 am and let you try and tell me, or whatever it is you are doing, and not take all 20 of us to that very nice hotel, that this airport has provided. So you will take these vouchers, or I will go get someone who will! Tomorrow half of my kids are leaving and the other half is staying, my stress level is high and I need you to let me and all of us leave! ...Please.” Cindy talks this man’s head off she sniffles cleary holding back the tears of anger, stress, and sadness. All of us knew as soon as this happened that we all needed to be serious, we have never heard anything like this before. Each of us glued a straight face on, the busy street turned silent, the new day seemed to hide behind the twilight of the night.
It was to late before I heard the sirens. I heard cars pull into the drive way into our new tent. I took a quick peek out the window. The immigration police were here! I ushered my family out the back door but it was to late. I showed them my ID and he moved to Rorra, whom didn 't have one. He directed her to the car but Mama stepped in front of him holden hew brass pan. "Move aside woman". the officer said gruffly. "No! You can 't take our children! Quick run to Chihiro"! She was a fellow farmer from Japan whom we 'd helped in the past. Rorro just stood there and quivered. The officer raised his gun and pulled the trigger. Mama 's eyes widened in surprise and she staggered backwards and hit the ground with a thud. The
