Do you drive enduros on the road. Lots of people die from enduro crashes. From 2001 to 2004 500,000 people died. If you get in to a car accident you will stay in the car if you get in an accident with a enduro you will fly of and get hurt or die. Lots of people also die because they drive stupid. Some people say that you should be able to drive them on the road. They say you should because they are just like a motorcycle. They are not it is just like a motorcycle they are like a dirt bike but with little changes like they have headlights and dirt bikes don’t. As you can see, people should not drive enduros on the road. People say it’s just like a motorcycle, but it’s not enduros you can drive on the dirt to. By
It seems each year that the automobile accidents increase, and there are a high number of death and injuries that follow. Records show that nearly 1.3 million people die in road crashes and 20-50 million are injured. More than half of all traffic death occur among young adults 15-44 years of age( ). Accidents can happen at any time and can be caused by many reasons such as rain, speeding, drug, or alcohol. An automobile accident is what brought the 16-year-old boy to the emergency to be care for by the medical staff there. The patient was seen by the ER staff for several hours, and he was admitted later in the inpatient unit for observation. The next morning when staff tried waking the patient he was died.

Life of the road isn't meant for everyone. Of course everyone has a different mindset towards this topic but you will have to be in the correct mindset of this situation for this to fall on you. Weather people want to live life on the road or not it isn't suited for everyone. It maybe the sense that some people have a physical condition that will hold them back from going onto the road and doing this maybe the case. In many people's cases that they may love going out into the wilderness and exploring some may not be equipped with these sort of skills and may forgot to be prepared in a sense like Chris McCandless. In Chris’s case he just wanted to get out and explore, such like Jon Krakauer. Jon Krakauer talked about how toxic society was and how he just wanted to escape that. People often go out to explore the wild since they're already on the road but is Mr.McCandless point of view he just wanted to escape society and start fresh. People that don't admire the wild like chris does may change the view of life on the road.
Continuing our Moki ascent, the road started to narrow; leaving minimal room for oncoming traffic.Driving the Moki is a master class in blind faith and mindfulness. Without guardrails, the Moki leaves no room for human error or driver negligence. One can only hope that drivers respect the speed limit without the temptation of treating the Moki like an off-road race track.
Simms makes an important move, “1.2 million people across the world are killed in road crashes each year and 50 million injured” (qtd. in Simms 542). This fact shows that Simms acknowledges that car crashes result in many deaths a year; however SUV’s by almost any measurements, are more dangerous than cars. Next Simms provides more supporting facts. “People driving or riding in a sport utility vehicle in 2003 were nearly 11 percent more likely to die in an accident than people in cars” (qtd. in Simms 542). Simms also states that due to the size of an SUV, they suffer from greater rear view blind spots. Which he stated may account for the number of parents who killed their children by running over them. These strong facts speak for themselves; and bring an emotional appeal to the reader. A child dying in any circumstance promotes sadness.
We see off road vehicles all over the place, but the one are that is impacted the most, is the desert. With places like Glamis, Ocotillo Wells, Dumont Dunes and Johnson Valley, we see some major destruction to the desert. Even though off road vehicles are permitted in these areas, many people still take their vehicles off designated trails and roadways. “Off-road vehicles, when used irresponsibly, can cause irreparable damage to desert habitats,” (national geographic). Many may still believe that off
In 2010, the Texas Department of Transportation began gathering insights on what number of people were murdered because of engine vehicle mishaps including walkers. From that point forward, the quantity of people on foot murdered in mishaps with engine vehicles has expanded by 36%. The quantity of
“Rural roads are often narrower or may vary in width more than city streets. A narrow road give[s] you less room to maneuver and can be especially dangerous when passing horse-drawn vehicles. A loose gravel or grass berm area can also be hazardous. Open ditches along rural roads are often deep and close to the road. Seemingly open roadways may have sharp dips or unexpected turns. In cold weather, a road shaded by trees or buildings may be icy because then [sic] sun has not shone on that part of the roadway. Blind corners created by wooded areas, corn fields or other tall crops are also hazardous. Normal speeds for horse-drawn buggies range between five and eight miles per hour. Horse-drawn vehicles may be even slower when pulling large farm equipment or when crossing intersections because horses are not tractors or cars and will eventually become tired. Another hazard to consider is restricted vision from the driver of the horse-drawn vehicle. When pulling large loads of hay or other equipment, drivers may not be able to see cars behind them. Car drivers, therefore, need to be extra cautious when passing horse-drawn farm equipment. To avoid other possible collisions, car drivers should anticipate left hand turns made by horse-drawn vehicles into fields and
Halfway to your destination, the road gets rough and bumpy. You’re driving on an unpaved path with different things scraping against your vehicle. It’s an uncomfortable ride, with a lot of jolting and bumping around in your seat.
The Swincar can travel terrains that no ATV can handle. The tilting, independent suspension arms give the car’s suspension a degree of tilting and vertical movement. Furthermore, the car can hand giant ruts, rocks, and the most difficult terrains with ease. Because of the stable base and additional security this car resists tipping over. However, if you drive the Swincar on smooth surfaces the car can easily lean into turns because of its wider wheel
In China electric bikes currently come under the same classification as bicycles and hence don't require a driver's license to operate. Previously it was required that users registered their bike in order to be recovered if stolen, although this has recently been abolished. Due to a recent rise in electric-bicycle-related accidents, caused mostly by inexperienced riders who ride on the wrong side of the road, run red lights, don't use headlights at night etc., the Chinese government plans to change the legal status of illegal bicycles so that vehicles with an unladen weight of 20 kg or more and a top speed of 30kmh or more will require a motorcycle license to operate, while vehicles lighter than 20 kg and slower than 30kmh can be ridden unlicensed. In the southern Chinese cities of Guangzhou, Dongguan and Shenzhen, electric bicycles, like all motorcycles, are banned from certain downtown districts. There are also bans in place in small areas of Shanghai, Hangzhou and Beijing.
Honestly you don’t know pain until you’ve been stuck in a car with 1 gassy university student, a whiny 3rd grader, a complaining grandma and 2 overly loud parents who refuse to open the windows for 8 hours. This is my family's way of bonding. Me and my family go on road trips very often and most of the time it's too loud in the car to do a quiet activity such as listening to music or reading a book, thus being forced to join in the games of Ispy and charades. It’s helped me create bonds with my parents and siblings I never thought I’d be able to have. This is why I chose my logo for my important category to be a Van on the road, I think it accurately describes how important these road trips are to me, one of the reasons being that I would have never gotten so close to my family (people very important to me) if it wasn’t for the forced long hours together in the car.
Background and Audience Relevance: According to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, in 2015, about thirty-five hundred people were killed, and four hundred thousand were injured in car crashes.
Along with accidents not only comes a little headache or a broken bone, but injuries that stay with you forever such as whiplash and brain damage. Most brain damage incidents occur when you are involved in a side impact collision and the side of your head hits the glass (brain injury). Side impact airbags are just one of the many ways in which this type of life threatening injury can be avoided (whiplash). There is also whiplash, which hurls your head violently, and usually results in long term disability. Since whiplash is so hard to avoid, it can only be avoided by reducing the number of accidents on the streets. Also one of the most painful and most traumatizing injuries that we encounter in accidents are bone fractures, which occur in 65% of all accidents (Bush 11). So in turn by making these cars safer we can all avoid these painful, traumatizing, life-threatening injuries.
Car accidents can happen to drivers anytime, anywhere. "According to the National Safety Council, which stated that more than 2.5 million collisions back every year, making it the most common type of car accidents, it is also known that the accident rear end as incidents of injury, because the nature of the collision leads often in whiplash injury the driver in the car in front and about 20% of people who participated in a rear collision injury symptoms of this kind. ", (NHTSA, auto-accident-resource.com). Among the car accidents, the teenage group is the only age group who is number of deaths is increasing instead of decreasing. Also, all the people are exposed to risk and actually every one of them has got car
