Why Do You Think Kids Should Have Chores

Studies show adults who did chores as kids will be more successful in life, They will get better jobs because they will have responsibility and be able to manage their time

Do you think that kids should get paid for doing chores?I do because it make them work towards something.Like wise most kids don’t get paid to do chores so most kids won’t do their chores.But they might if they got paid.I think kids should get paid for doing chores so they have something to work for.

Kids shouldn't have homework. Kids have stuff to do like sports, spending time with family and working. Instead of doing 6 or so hours of homework every night. “homework came in behind not only socializing but also exercise or sports as well as working for pay.” (Gazette,par. 24) I agree because some students have to rush to get their homework done at lunch or before school because they either have sports or have to go to work everyday.

A house should be a love of labor, not something that does everything for you. Although having everything done for you is nice, there is no satisfaction in it. Doing chores and keeping a clean house is fulfilling and can help children develop responsibility.

In my opinion I don’t think kids should get paid to do chores around the house. When you do little things like laundry, or cleaning your room, or swiping I think you should just do it. The reason why you should just do it is because it is a favor your parents have asked you for. Help your parents out they already have to deal with you,and if you have any animals or siblings they have to deal with them. At home if I do chores I do get paid but I do not want to. I think chores are apart of life and that we should apresheate for what we have and what we can do. Parents have to become more aware of the affect they are having on their children when they do no implement chores into a child’s day to day activities. Chores help establish good work ethics in which children will need as they grow into adult life. Chores should not be looked at as the leftover job a parent does not want to do but more as experiences and learning lessons that carry on with a child throughout life.
