I think that everyone back then had a reason to hate Germany. I wouldn’t harm Germany any more than I already have because, there are real people in some of these countries, individuals who deserve a life. Just because one person makes a bad decision which leads to war does not mean that you should kill everyone in that country. It is not sane; it is not humanly. I believe the U.S did what they had to do, but I didn’t feel that was right. The people should have their opinion of whether or not they think that the U.S should go to war with Germany. It is a free country, and the people should have a say in what should happen.
Even though France wants vengeance on Germany, it doesn’t mean that you need to follow them into battle. As the U.S
People have been debating over this topic for a long time. There are two good sides with reasons if the United States should have joined the World War II. In my opinion, the United States should have joined the World War II because the United States was being invaded by the Nazi because they were mad at America. The Nazi were also trying to rule all of Germany and we couldn't let that go and let them win right after they bombed the United States. This is why we should of joined World War II.
The reason why these Countries fought was to give France their independence and fight off the Nazis.
he Germans have not just caused the deaths of over a million French soldiers with their unjust invasion, they have not just caused the destruction of countless towns, farmland and infrastructure, but they have separated our countrymen in Alsace-Lorraine from the Fatherland! Therefore they must pay the price for their hostility towards the French people.
The whole program to rebuild Germany was based on the idea that Germany had been betrayed and that the only way for Germany to avenge itself upon its enemies and put an end to the conflict that had begun in 1914 was through military action. (Nelson) Through the bad state of the country, the Nazis were able to use propaganda that influenced the German people to believe that it was right to punish the groups who they believed were to blame for their
All of Germany had a solid reason for the persecution, if not extreme terrors that it included. After the conclusion of World War One and the signing of the Treaty of Versailles, Germany was launched into a massive depression that devastated the country. Those who are suffering are bound to reach a state of anger at some point, and at the beginning they were right to feel this sentiment. The neighboring nations had set unfair and cruel requirements for Germany in the Treaty of Versailles, which ruined their economy, resulting in massive inflation and extreme poverty. Thus, Germany was angry. The
When war broke out, there was no way the world could possibly know the severity it would have taken on the people of the world. Fortunately one country saw and understood that Germany and its allies would have to be stopped. America’s Involvement in World War II not only contributed in the downfall of the insane Adolph Hitler and his Third Reich, but also came at the best time and moment. If the United States entered the war any earlier the consequences would probably have been worse.
Many countries were involved in WWI, Germany being one of them. It is arguable whether Germany is responsible for the outbreak of war or rather the responsibility of individual countries such as Britain, Russia, France, Austria-Hungary and the Balkans collectively. However, Germany should be blamed to the full extent of starting WW1 due to the reasons that Germany had unconditional support for Austria, Germany 's war plans were planned to cause more conflict and Germany 's mobilization schedule.
([violation] of Germany’s signed undertakings [agreements]. . . . What is essential, in the French view, is
As I was entering the death camp , I ran across some German males flirting with theses girls. They were laughing and smiling with the Germans they had me shocked flirting back! Like them guys should disgust them because of the actions they taken on the Jews.
The United States has been involved in many conflicts, but the World Wars are two of the major conflicts, which many people lost their lives. World War II, being the more recent war, is the war that the United States should have entered earlier than they have. The World Wars are two of the most violent wars we have had in the world, but World War II, was by far, the more hurtful war out of the two. World War II has violated many human rights, and has produced many social injustices to the people who have suffered during this war. Millions of people could have been saved from the Nazi’s lust for purity if the United States would have entered the war earlier than they have.
Germany as a Victim On the 16th June the German government, lead by Count Brockdorff-Rantzau, were presented with the Treaty of Versailles. They were originally given 14, and then 21 days, to agree to it. " The treaty, which included some 440 Articles, was not as vindictive as Clemenceau had wanted nor as moderate as Lloyd George would have wished.
I have read Mona Eltahawy’s article “Why do they hate us? She first opens up with the work by the late Egyptian writer Alifa Rifaat “Distant View of a Minaret,” she says we have no freedom because men simply hate us, she explains how they hate us from driving laws and rape convictions against women as well as genital mutilation, in Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Egypt.
France had a general distrust of Germany. There was a great fear that if more serious measures to stop Germany were not made then the next generation would be seeking a war of revenge. The French public opinion earnestly desired a just peace, and would not take up arms again until compelled by a clear threat.3 This pacifism played an extremely important role in French policy. "Whether from ignorance or misunderstanding, many of the French people were apathetic, or just did not care enough to want action."4 The people were divided into two forces, the Left and Right, the Right favoring
Every country has its own agenda for its people and purpose for it’s military. Looking at the world nations, France is one of the most advanced nations that are currently an ally to the United States (US). Looking at the political, economic, and military situation of France can best describe the type of ideals and direction of focus the society has and will continue to have over the next few years or more.
Hitler was openly accepting that his actions could have caused war with Britain and France, but they remained proactive in their dealings with Hitler, instead trying to reason with the German leader and make compromises in return for peace. France and Germany avoided any military action at this point in time as The Great Depression had hindered their military rearming production and war would be costly and in particular France, public opinion opposed any conflict with Hitler’s German forces.[7]
