I believe that I deserve this scholarship because I have always made it a point to put forth my very best effort in everything I do. In addition, I have enriched my education through participation in various extracurricular activities. I have participated in sports throughout my years in high school. I joined cheerleading for my senior year to try something new and challenge
I believe I deserve the A.R.S.S.B Dean’s Student Advisory Scholarship because I am a hardworking student in the business field. I strive to improve myself daily, using the resources I am given throughout our campus. I make a great effort to always staying updated when it comes to any events dealing with the School of Business or TAMIU. Although, I am not involved in the A.R.S.S.B Dean’s Student Advisory Council, I hope to get involved with this program next semester that way I may gain experience and develop stronger work ethic skills. I believe I would be a great recipient for this scholarship based off my dedication to my work studies, and my will to be involved with TAMIU. Although I am classified as a Junior, it is my first year in college,
In conclusion, I believe that I am deserving of this scholarship because I am a focused, experienced, and well rounded student who has many more goals to achieve. This is justified by my past actions and my plans for the future. I am goal oriented and driven, making me the best candidate for this scholarship.
I believe that I should be awarded this scholarship because I come from a background in which my parents did not go far with education. This has made life hard for my family and myself. My mother is unable to work because she is dealing with multiple sicknesses and my father, who was our main source of income, passed away. My parent both put a lot of pressure on me to get a good education, but we lack the funds to make my dreams of becoming a doctor a reality. If I am awarded this scholarship, I would be so grateful and it would not go to waste.
I deserve this scholarship because I’m a strong female role model, dedicated to God, school, family and friends, along with my work. I intern at the Sigourney Elementary School where I work with different grades. I feel privileged to work with the younger kids who look up to me as a role model. My relationship with God is very strong, and I try to share that with those around me. I’m hardworking during school and work. I do my best to keep up with my grades, and always stay on top of my homework. I take my schoolwork very seriously, and want to get in as much learning as I can. At one point I was taking nine classes compared to the normal seven period day. I work two jobs now, and can always be counted on to cover hours for those who are sick or can’t come in. I’m active in different organizations in school and am a team player. I’ve shown leadership skills through my years as a Girl Scout since Kindergarten, along with helping inspire the younger girls. These are just a few of the reasons I believe I would be a worthy candidate for the PEO scholarship.
When comparing myself to my fellow classmates, I find that my intense dedication to my schoolwork separates me from the majority. Unlike so many of my peers, my schoolwork virtually dominates my life during the week, on the weekends, and during the seasonal breaks. Work hard and thoroughly complete my work, which is why I believe I deserve to receive a scholarship.
The reason I am deserving of this scholarship is that, I am persistent and have the ability to put in all the hard work it will take and follow it through to achieve my goals and dreams. I believe in myself that I can achieve my goals and dreams, and I believe that this scholarship will give me that foundation I need to build a better self and enable me to become a person who will make a difference in this world.
“Education is the passport for the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” -Malcolm X. Everyone deserves the right to education. I feel everyone should get it in their own way. This is why I feel I deserve to be granted the right of education through scholarships and the help and care of the people who care about my journey for a better and higher education. I feel I deserve the scholarship in that i will use the scholarship to further my education and in doing so I will pursue a better future financially and intellectually. In my life I have two preeminent goals. The first goal is to be the best person I can become in any way that I can. The second is to help those who have helped me, and those who have helped them, and anyone who needs to be assisted.
I believe I should receive this scholarship because I am an exemplary teenager, not only in academics, but also interpersonally and intrapersonally.
I believe that I should be selected to receive this incredible scholarship award because I am a natural leader and an ambitious individual who possesses an astonishing amount of perseverance. My ambitious nature has allowed me to excel both academically and personally. In high school, I took initiative over my education by enrolling in the most difficult classes available. However, I have taken an even greater initiative by graduating from high school an entire year early. By doubling up on courses and taking classes outside of the regular school day, my dream of graduating early has become my reality. I attribute this exceptional achievement to my strong desire to achieve.
In Kansas City Hispanics have had a presence in businesses in Missouri even Kansas. All of them were started with a vision to serve the public in a trade or service. They were men and women who all had to start somewhere. They had to ask someone close to kick start their business. A brother perhaps a parent. However for me i ask to go to college. My family was too big that my parents can not afford to send me to college. I am on my own for paying my higher education. Thanks to my school I had a class hour to submit and complete applications for college. I took advantage and made an effort to work even on this scholarship. I know that receiving this scholarship means the difference between focusing more on my classes than working and balancing my classes.
I believe I should receive this scholarship because of my dedication to my schoolwork. I have gone through many obstacles to continue my education. My hard work in the past years proves how well I will work in the years to come. I hope to work even harder. This scholarship will help me continue my education.
“In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure” (Bill Cosby). Reflecting back on my life I have dealt with numerous downfalls but I always bounce back. I was born in India and moved here when I was six years old. As I grew up in California I was not a bright student at first. I was enrolled in Carmichael Elementary in which I was the only one with Turban on my head, which caused me to get into a lot of fights with other students who were making fun of turban. Not knowing how to speak English at the time affected the way interacted with teachers and students. On the other hand my family always had a tight budget at home. Both of my parents worked at the store we owned which was the only source money. At school kids were always talking about their new shoes and the iPod which his or her parents got them. I didn’t get everything I wanted as a kid but as I got older I understand if did I could be a spoiled brat. When I moved from Carmichael to Sacramento and I was enrolled at Maeola R. Beitzel elementary. Going to this new school I already learned English so I made marvelous friends and was surrounded by positive people. Going from a chaos environment to this harmonious environment in part because I was speaking English, made me have unique personality .I was playing sports and growing as a student. Those years went by in no time. Now I am in high school and my family’s income has been growing. My mom changed her work to now at Jack in

I am a student that believes in working hard, being a positive influence, and giving back to the community. Your organization and I share these core values and I would like to take our vision further by using this scholarship to advance my education as well as an opportunity to improve the lives of those around me. As an immigrant from Nepal, I have had to work hard my whole life just to survive in America. Working multiple jobs while attending school is a tough challenge that I face but I believe that if one works hard their dreams can come true. Many people from my community give up

My greatest desire is to become a successful engineer, however the financial burden that college bares is too great an obstacle to conquer on my own. I believe I deserve this scholarship, because investing in mem would be investing in the future.
