There were many things that I like about the class and there was nothing that I did not like at all. The things I liked about the class were reading the book Chosen. I really enjoyed being able to learn about International Business. This course was for semester five students but I was able to get in and I am glad that I was. One of the reasons I like the class was also that the teacher Rabih Hitti was easy going and kept the class engaged in the discussions and made the class stay awake for the 1:30 that we had the class. Also how well the class was engaged and I got to meet new people and learn about them. The kiss bow or shake hands book that people were presenting from told me how to act in different cultures and environments and had shown me that other countries are big on time and others try to come late on purpose. I feel if I was able to take this class later on I would have had knowledge to participate in the discussions and have a better understanding of items that were taught but, I feel I was taught by the best related to International Business on campus. This class has helped prepare me for upcoming classes that I will be taking and has taught me a great deal of various areas in the business world This course differed from others that I had taken because of I it was related to the field of study that I wanted to do and this will help me set up my dealership and manage it then later on make it into a corporation that will make everyone know me. This differed
This class taught me that I should avoid taking eight-thirty classes if at all possible. I struggled with missing classes due to oversleeping and struggled with staying awake during the classes when I was present. This was due to my poor management of time, balancing ROTC’s morning PT, getting to class, and homework at night. This has taught me that I need to complete work earlier. This class also taught me some more history
Over the course, as I began to see all the material and work come together, I felt a sense of accomplishment and felt very proud of what I had done over the semester. This learning experience has definitely opened my eyes and opened new doors for me professionally already.
I really enjoyed how much freedom we got in the class, every assignment was left open ended, we were allowed to do the assignment on pretty much anything we wanted. Since the assignment topics were up to us I really don’t think I was even left stressing out about an assignment because I had the opportunity to choose a topic that I had interest in.
I liked everything about this course. The seminars, study plans, and the weekly discussions help
2. Explain why you took this course and what you hope to learn from it.
This class has really opened up my eyes to many new views and opinions toward certain information and assumptions. Before taking this class I did not believe I was racist or had any downward views towards any people or cultural. This soon came to my attention that everyone has a little bit of racist in them no matter how hard you try not to be. I also thought that Columbus discovered America, I found it very interesting and almost common sense when we discussed this issue and how the school curriculum has been lying to students in a sense about the discovery of America. The finial bias I soon came to see was that no matter how much you think you will not face other cultures or other religions in schools that you are not familiar with your chances are very slim. No matter where you plan to teach at their will always be situations that you are unfamiliar with.
Before taking this course I was really excited about what I am going to learn. And I was right! This course is not only interesting but it is also helpful. I have learned that the grade I am having right now is the reflection of my try throughout the entire semester.
From day one, I noticed the relative ease of the course. The two friendly instructors welcomed the entire class, and they presented the material in a simple and comprehensible manner. My seven classmates and I bonded immediately. I recall
During this course, I discovered an interest I had in the business field. Owning a company, advertising and marketing, selling procedures were things I enjoy retaining information about. Along with this
The one class that really opened up my eyes to see the world in a different point of view was Entrepreneurship and Creativity. I may have not gotten the best possible grade, but I will never forget the learning principles that inspired me to create and explore many different options. The course had a marketing pitch competition that has gotten me to think in an entrepreneurial mindset ever since. As my parking app pitch came close with the runners-up, I am still trying to improve and innovate from previous models.
I learned so much about myself and became more confident in who I am. I learned that I am not good at accounting or finance and that you will probably never see me walking down Wall Street. This semester I learned that I have a new passion for health and wellness. I love learning about nutrition and how to fuel your body properly. My business classes taught me how to get out of my comfort zone and be able to present in front of a large number of people. I learned so much about myself that I would not have learned if I did not come to a liberal arts
The three courses I took this semester have all gave me insight to important information I have been able to apply at my work and will be able to continue applying in my future jobs. My business and professional writing class has shown me how correctly structuring work documents, letters, resumes, policies can demonstrate the professionalism of an employee or organization. Since this course when directing information through my supervisors I try to make sure my letters or any other documents are well written and formatted. I have received complements on my current job for doing this also.
I have learned so much in this class to prepare me for a successful college experience. There were some topics that caught my attention more than others. Such as, time and stress management, University resources, and critical thinking.
What concepts, principles, or ideas that you have learned, do you think you will remember the most after you leave this class?
