I’ve learned that I’m reserved and can really read emotions. As an INFJ, I really read emotions well. Whenever one of my friends feel sad but are trying to cover it up, I know something is wrong and want to help. For friendships, I only have a few and these friendships go really deep. The friends I have I really know well and am loyal to. I am very creative and love to think outside the box.I have a skill for finding emotions and form deep and loyal friendships. Based on my personality I would be really good at working with kids. I would be a great counselor for kids. I could help them get through tough times and learn to be kind and speak your feelings. I would also be good at being an architect. I’m good at math and I LOVE building and

How well does one know himself or herself as a person? Or even the type of person they are? How can one tell if they’re an introvert or an extrovert? There are so many questions that come to mind but no answers that follow. However, after taking the Majors PTI assessment was when I realized what type of person I am. My results revealed that I am an INFJ. What does that even mean? Well, being an INFJ means that I am an introvert, who uses their feelings and intuition to make their judgments. INFJ’s like to use words and visions and be imaginative. They tend to make connections to everything and give a deeper meaning to every part of their life. Truthfully speaking, that’s exactly the type of person I am. I prefer to deal with things according
A career I would be interested in pursuing is being a park ranger. This job interests me because I love spending time outdoors and with people. It also is an interest of mine to keep our wonderful parks and woodland environments safe and to have them still be around for many more generations to come.
I notice that Maria does not know how to regulate emotions. I wanted to teach Maria of different types of emotions and how to deal with them, especially anger and sadness.
One of the most difficult parts of this class has been dealing with and embracing the various emotional responses. Each presentation triggered a different cathartic response. The intensity of these felt responses, nevertheless, is cause for attention. Emotions are necessary. Especially necessary for developing connections in relationships. Therefore, nurturing cold, distant, and desensitized responses isn’t optimal. However, in the development of healthy therapeutic relationships, heightened emotional responses are a very much counterproductive. The presentations were a look into the visceral struggles our clients will walk into sessions with. Subsequently, these glimpses are also an indication that purposeful immersion into unfamiliar topics
Ever since I was about 6 years old i always adored animals. I wanted to help any animal who was sick or endanger. This career would be good for me because, I grew up taking care of many different animals. Being a vet or veterinary assistant would be the best job for me.
This project deals with the impact of state and trait anxiety on emotional interpretation. To define the different types of anxiety, state anxiety is temporary while trait anxiety tends to be longer lasting (Meijer, 2001). Next, according to Mathews and Mackintosh (2000), emotional interpretation is generally how a person interprets emotional information. I became interested in emotional interpretation after participating in a research study with Gilbert (2016) which found that lower sleep quantity was associated with attributing more emotion to a piece of neutral text. Finding one variable that affects emotional interpretation makes me want to continue this type of research and examine the relationships that other variables have with emotional interpretation, which is needed.
The Holocaust was one of the most horrific events in history. It involved the systematic mass slaughter of European Jews and certain groups of people that were unable to meet the standards of the Aryans. The Holocaust involved the slaughter of approximately six million Jews by the Nazi regime and its collaborators under Adolf Hitler. The three main causes of the Holocaust were, Anti-semitism, Propaganda, and Hitler.
My parents enrolled me into Our Lady of Grace Catholic School in 2014 creating a pivotal moment in my life. Discovering that the school has a policy about service hours made me anxious, since I am quiet and a reserved individual. At that moment, I realized that my journey was not just making respectful grades. It turned into finding myself through faith. Nonetheless, I decided to be open-minded, and see how my journey evolves.
This week's topic is interesting. it talks about emotions of people in all situations, emotions can be positive and negative depending on the feelings and thoughts of each one of us. Words such as "Disappointed and "Undecided" may appear most in my emotions when I think about a certain negative thing. This effects on my mind as well as my spiritual.
I would get a occupation for three things money, to help others, and to make the world a better place. If I was to have to choose one job it would be an Art Therapist. That gives you money, you get to help others and I helps make the world a better place. This would be my ideal occupation because I enjoy art. Not only that but people will be helped by me.
Realizing the career that would be right for me. Would likely be a private/criminal investigator. Seeing that I am motivated and committed for a job like this it can become a widely problem-solving, communicational career for me. I’m willing to use my skills to help others in need in the criminal field. Pursuing this career it would allow me to always have something exciting happen daily and always be on my toes. Therefore, this is something that interests me a lot and I know it would be fun for me. As a private investigator, it requires much of schooling, ways to make sure you are a problem solver, and helping people with their cases of criminals and more that can get away from the trouble they had caused.
It would be a toss-up between teaching and running a successful Etsy shop. I teach Junior Achievement and love my time with the young kids, but if I were to teach, I think I’d prefer to be a professor, likely in a construction accounting class. I would also love to have an Etsy shop where customers actually pay me for the crafts I enjoy doing!
I am sensitive. I try to always look at a situation from everyone's perspective before making a judgement. I am sensitive to how others feel, even to when teachers are not in the mood for a loud class. Sometimes when I sense Sarah is having "one of those days", I try to back off and be as understanding as possible. Even when I was younger when watching cartoons with my brothers, I would feel bad for Tom the cat, because he could never catch Jerry, even though he was "the bad guy". I always try to be as sensitive to people as possible and see hoe they may take something. I have found this really helps me be more understanding.
