When a horse has colic, they have abdominal pains. To help them, I learned about how colic originates and how to treat it. Many elephants are wounded from injuries, infections, or abuse. To help heal them, I learned how to dress their wounds. Before visiting Thailand, I didn’t know how many animals are treated by veterinarians and how many ways veterinarians help them. This hands-on experience has given me a better insight as to what a veterinarian does and has solidified my career
