Why Is Baseball Important To Me

Baseball has been one of Americas favorite sports ever since it was created. As Babe Ruth once said, “Baseball was, is and always will be to me the best game in the world.” Through time though other sports started to emerge such as soccer, football, and basketball, but America never had quite the passion towards them that they had with baseball. It is rare to find someone that does not like baseball because of how long the sport has been around. It is reasonable to believe that baseball is the greatest sport out there. Baseball is a one of a kind sport because it has a great history, one can go to college in the four different areas it offers, such as hitting, pitching, defending, base running, and finally one must be mentally tough to play it.

I have been playing baseball on and off sense I was 7 up until my junior year of high school and I enjoy attainting and watching Baseball games has a hobby.

Since I can remember, I was in love with game of baseball. I believe that when I was a kid, baseball taught me how to be passionate. I remember always impatiently waiting to play catch with my Dad or play wiffleball with my brother. I believe baseball has taught me more than just passion but it has also taught me a number of life lessons and has also shaped who I am as a person today.

Baseball always seemed rather natural to me. With my dad being a basketball coach, it honestly was my mother’s doing that picked up a glove and ball. It probably was because her side of the family seemed to compile an interesting set of baseball junkies, her even playing for Team USA Softball one summer, and my god-father (her brother) garnering tons of scholarship offers and major league try-outs for his work on the mound. Baseball just was in me. Something that was organic, fun, and exhilarating. For the most part, I excelled from the start. However, just as baseball played an innocent childhood role in my life, it also presented me with one of the biggest life lessons that I have experienced.

Baseball is a game of intensity, athleticism, skill, and the mind. A lot of people have heard of baseball and have probably watched a game on TV, or at least part of a game. I however, would much rather be playing the game instead of watching it.

When I was younger, sports were the activity that changed my life. I showed interest in sports around the age of five. Baseball was my favorite sports at this time of my life. The only sports I watched when I was younger was baseball. . I fell in love with baseball before any other sport because it involved catching, running and throwing. I took every baseball opportunity I had and ran with it. Baseball was a way for me to express my creativity and develop my social skills. I was a kid who was shy and timid around others.

Baseball is my passion,baseball is life. I can't life without baseball. I absolutely love playing baseball.Everyday I practice with my dad he teaches me everything that I need to know about baseball. I started baseball when I was in 4 years old. First I wasn't good at it, I wanted to give up. But my dad told me to never give up in your life or you won't be a successful person you are going to give up if you don't try. I never gave up once again. I started baseball again. Days, months, years past I was getting better and better by practicing with my dad . I was filling I was a good baseball player. I felt I was a champion.

Baseball is an extremely large part of my life. I credit my parents and grandparents for getting me into the sport. At about age seven, I did not want to play any sport. Then, I was introduced to real baseball for the first time. When I was young, it was just a game. Now, it is not just a game, it is my dreams and my passion.

There have been many variables that have played a huge part in my life to make me the person I am today. Certain situations molded my character and hardened who I was destined to become. A major factor that is part of my genetic code and has helped me perceive the person I am destined to become is the game of baseball. There is something about this great, traditional game that has grasped onto me and never let go. Even as A little kid, I would always go with my cousin to the baseball field and be mesmerized as the game commenced and progressed. The older I got, the more love I grew for the game, and soon enough, the game became an escape from whatever seemed to trouble me. It became not only an addicting getaway but an exhilarating way to

Everybody a passion that can keep them engaged for hours on end. Whether it’s music, television, science, writing, or any number of other topics, everybody turns to something that they love. The subject that could keep me captivated forever is baseball. It enthralls me so much that if it was taken away, I would lose a part of me. Soaking up as much baseball as possible is one of my missions in life.

Baseball are important parts of life. which offer competition without violence and help people come together in harmony. Baseball helps to release our competitive urges and get more exercise. Sports are great motivators for people who want to get into shape and generates millions for our country. It provides a lot of jobs for people and the elements within baseball such as competition, exercise and working as a team have been around for a long time and embodies the ideas of friendly competition and may work on a very healthy team basis. Joining a group so that the group may complete a task or goal is a very good thing for humans as humans are pack animals and as a pack you work as a team to get things done just like teams have to do when playing

There is one location that brought me peace and comfort growing up. There is only one of it’s kind and it will always hold precious childhood memories. In fact, I would even go as far and say that this place taught me things that were just hard for me to grasp growing up. Things like patience and social skills are things I learned from playing this sport and visiting a place that houses one of the best teams. That sport is baseball and that place is Dodgers Stadium.

Baseball is a passion that began for me when I was 5 years old being amazed by dirt clouds when sliding into home plate. My collegiate experience at Berkeley, established through athletic scholarships, was informed by baseball and the commitment required for participation in such a program. The sport has taken me all over the world. I have been to Japan, as part of the World Baseball Games to Texas, as a professional player and everywhere in between including Wilmer, Minnesota where I lived next to a turkey slaughterhouse that employed primarily East African refugees. Passion for the game has influenced my personal code toward discipline, perseverance, and optimism in that I always look forward to the next opportunity no matter what has happened
